Oh, I like your accent. My LG G1 is still going strong, and I really like it. I bought a Creston 'conference' center (used) it does a phenomenal job on upconverting to 2160 p. Everything looks so clear and I have lots and lots of hdmi 2 ports. Thanks for posting this review. I like to see how different people review the same model of a tv brand. Keep up the good work. Finally! Stoked to watch this 📺 🙌No TV is perfect, but this g4 checks more than enough boxes for me. It's expensive but it looks like the blacks and color reproduction has a 3D realistic look and depth. Can't wait to view this TV for myself. "alpha 11"

Yea if you've never owned an OLED before, prepare to have your mind blown. I've only been an OLED owner for 3 days now and I can't get enough of this TV. My only regret is that I didn't buy one in the winter, like before the weather was nice and beautiful. It was so nice outside yesterday and I didn't want to leave the living room😂😂😂😂

I have the G2. LG knocked it out of the park with the last two generations. The G2 is already super bright, so I could imagine MLA on the G4.

@Andrew Zenn - Hi Andrew, note that the included slim wall mount includes the ability to extend out and back so you can easily pull it forward to get to the back ports then easily push it back into place. thank you for a great review!

can exchange my lg g3 77 inch for the lg g4. 2249 euro. but i wait one year. not worth to upgrade. Stop the fomo says this to me: Paying an extra 2249 is not a good deal but an extra few hundred euro is fine but don't expect major improvements unless the additional tone mapping settings change your world and you are watching super bright content - if you are looking for accuracy, the AI processor does nothing for you because it will change the creator's intent to make it look more pleasing (like Sony XR Clear) I always like QD OLED more because I know I'll get better uniformity out of the box with no compromise to color gamut coverage or color luminance, and color saturation is best in class, better than A95L which suffers from low luminance desaturation while G4 will suffer from high luminance desaturation i meant S95C/D is better than A95L but WOLED has better low luminance saturation than A95L too so G4 is insulting the creator this year because LG saw how well Sony sold its XR Clear which definitely changed the creator's intent - if youre going to leave AI Directors Processing off, then why buy the A11 processor, right? 26 mrt. 2024 7:43 p.m. Personally, I'm sick of lazy studios who messed up director's intent because the color graders were too lazy to do it right - what's the point? Game of Thrones was screwed up by the creator pure and simple, it was accidentally graded too dark so everyone had to re-adjust their TV to recover from the crushed blacks - ridiculous Then you have Apple putting Dolby Vision filter on everything when the "creator" never intended for DV in the first place! right now creator's intent is a farce on streaming/home delivery systems and only true in a real theater SOOOO, this is a long winded way of saying, the differences are too minor for you to upgrade unless the G3 has terrible uniformity because the G4 promises better uniformity and THAT is probably the best improvement that most people will notice 26 mrt. 2024 7:47 p.m.

Hi Andrew, great review thanks! I have a question for you. Do you notice any difference between the image of the Netflix app from the Apple TV and that from the LG Netflix app? I have the LG G4 65”, seem to notice that the colors of the LG Netflix app tend to be reacher and the image crispier than when watching Netflix via the Apple TV. I am looking forward to your video with all the tweaks for the image . I hope you can provide something for SDR, HDR and Dolby Vision. I am currently using the filmmaker mode for all three formats, but frankly, I feel that they could be better. Thanks.😊

The Bluetooth is only 5.1, which is years old. The newest Bluetooth is 5.3.

I’ve had two LG’s for about 5 years now and the WiFi went out in both TVs soon after the warranty period. Looking at forums it seems like it’s a very common issue for LG. I hope LG has fixed this newer models.

I didnt know this TV was out either. Literally bought my first OLED this last Friday and saw no G4 TVs in the showroom at Best Buy. But I just pulled up Amazon to look at the price and 4600 for the 77" G4 😱😱😱😱😱 yea I'm good😂😂😂😂 paid less than half that for my 77" S90C. Im fine with it even though I have zero doubt the G4 probably blows the doors off it

I'll be going for the 65" S90D or S90C, gotta have the Quantum dot colour, since it's closer to what Plasma & CRT are capable of. Supposedly, if you do 3 pixel refresh cycles on the S90D it completely gets rid of the out of box black crush too. My current LG C1? Lousy colour, low SDR & HDR game mode brightness, and inherent black crushing that can't be corrected without a professional calibration. :P

Put the Soundbar on the front of the board and calibrate again. The Sound is much better.
