Omar Carrington sir! I just love how you lot are so obsessed with the Samsung devices since the s2, and you all believe the s8 wins in all categories 🤔 just like you said about the s3 s4 s5 s6 s7 and now s8? But the only one that worked perfectly was the s2, all the rest I sent back because of software issues! You and Samsung wouldn't know good software if it bit you in the ass! I don't follow sales or marketing... Just saying.

Never had any issues with every android i've owned besides the normal android lag you get after a while. Laggiest devices i've owned was the g3 which with the g4,g5 and probably more devices have had bootloop issues. Samsung tried things they try to ""innovate"" while lg gets the rest of the users that can't afford an s8. I do agree the g6 looks better imho nothing flashy just a classy looking phone. Not saying the s8 is perfect because it's far from it (matter of fact i'm trading my s8+ tomorrow lolz) Both phones are fails this year imho the 18:9 ratio might be the future but were still far from it so in the meantime it's basically useless, lg has nothing spectacular or nothing to show it's just another plain android phone in the android sea,where'as samsung tried new things (aka note test,edges on phones) that oddly all caught up with people. I don't check marketing nor sales figure since i don't care either. Basically just use whatever you wanna use and stay off others people's taste.

Hello.How is possible, that you have bluetooth 5.0 at your phone? Lg G6 in my country(europe-czech republic) has bt 4.2.

My G6 on battery 16 hours on 4G 97%of the time 2.5 hrs screen on with always on and 38% left. Oh and I played games too.

I got my lg g6 today 0 dollars down only 15 dollars a month and the phone it's is only 340 bucks. I got it because my LGv20 broke. So until I get another v20 on Amazon or swappa I have the g6 and so far the battery is terrible I did hear that the update to Oreo improved the battery life tho.

I'm experiencing bad and inconsistent stand by/idle battery drain. Sometimes 2 to 4% overnight to 10-16% under the same conditions: Wi-Fi always on, sync on, location on (high precision), always on display turned off etc. What's your settings for stand by times?

Victor Arlé I suggest that you should turn off WiFi and location, as they drain a huge chunk of the battery

this is simply a wrong review about the battery life. you will get around 3.5 to 4.30 hours if you are that person who use the phone not only for checking time and date.

J TheAndroidFreak i suggest you to watch the video from Garry from android authority about bt 5.0 ... you'll find out why we still can't use bt 5.0 on android, or ios for that matter... it isn't supported by the software (by android itself). so even if it had the hardware (like the s8/s8+) you can't use it yet... maybe in android o.... cheers

Ok I just got this phone, I find it great you only lose like 2% after 8 hours, but some how I use 16% in 3 hours of non use. Nothing I have tried can get this piece of shit's battery life to extend My LG G3 had more than 2 times the battery life of this LG G6 and it had a smaller battery. My LG G3 could go 3 days without needing to be charged, or if I was working regularly 24-48 hours before needing to be recharged, This LG G6 can't even go 12 fucking hours just sitting in standby on my desk.
