Good video. It's disgusting how time consuming the replacement of these batteries now are. Practically every phone is like this.

They claim for the water resistant feature that's why they are like this. But the Samsung s5 had a removable battery and was water proof. So that is defiantly not a reason at all. It is so u have to buy a new phone rather then replace the battery and use it years later.

@@aandlwireless You're no doubt right. It's also to make the phone thinner. The companies have convinced consumers thinner 'phones' (these handheld PCs) are more desirable, why? It benefits the companies really. And why is a phone with no bezels so great? They end up smashed or in a case. With a glass back added, its handy to have the users break wafer-thin slippy thin glass phones((!?) and blame themselves for breaking their delicate fetishized gadget. The companies are terrified of people not replacing their phones, so give us a non-helping hand ii tne phone's demise. They also managed to make ROM (Apple were the first) into a premium feature and charge **** loads for memory - one of the cheapest components.
