Family Room speaker may be set up, but we could not communicate with it from your iPhone. Make sure that you have enabled local network access in your iPhone’s privacy settings. Then try again.

Good point George, I believe it needs local network access to find cast enabled devices.

Thanks for the Review I got to say I have been looking at this so soundbar for over a month now watching sales, Looking up reviews, and reding articles. So I have done a good amount diggin. The two things that that stand out to me that keeps me from buying... is that the DANG display status light " YOU CANT TURN IT OFF" It will always be on in a dark room and that will drive me crazy plus its off center..... The Other is that there is not ETHERNET jack on the back( what in the world would LG do this SMH) A long with all the WIFI problems that people have reported,. They are saying that this will interfere with the wifi somehow.... But great review man keep it up maybe next time add the Soundbar model to title I was not able to find this video easy

Thanks for the comment Alberto! I updated the title of the video to include the model number. I agree that it’s annoying that you can’t turn off the display and that it isn’t centered. I believe you can turn down the brightness in the app, but you can’t turn it all the way off. Good luck with your purchase decision!

Hi Michael, I want to ask you something about the sound of the subwoofer, SN8YG, I bought this soundbar and found that the bass is almost non-existent at a volume between 10 and 17... I don't have a round sound even with the bass values ​​at maximum .....Is this normal or does my product have a manufacturing problem? Thanks.

Hi George, that doesn’t seem normal. I have noticed that the subwoofer sometimes takes a minute to connect and there isn’t any bass until it does. I think you can also adjust the amount of bass in the LG soundbar app. If those two don’t work for you, there could be something wrong.

Does the soundbar also automatically switch to eARC Mode when I turn ON my TV?

Yes, if you have it connected to your TV with ARC or eARC over HDMI it should turn on automatically whenever the tv is turned on.
