This video was fantastic! I just replaced my own screen (my first electronic repair!). Prying off the back cover was a bit of a challenge for me (even with a jimmy) and I ended up with a couple of areas that were a little rough afterwards (just filed it smooth with an emery board-no problem!). I appreciated the head's up on areas to be careful and other tips to avoid damage. I watched several videos before attempting the repairs, and yours was far and away the best. Thank you!!!

Subscribed. Best LG K series video I've seen so far, by far. Camera angle, commentary, everything. TY. My top glass is cracked but the LCD is fine. Can I just replace the top glass? What brand of phone do you think is the easiest to repair, generally?

5:23 Remember just a litttle heat. I melted my battery and while it did work for a little after there were problems. Just a little tiny heat

Don't understand why there are two phones, but I learned enough not to attempt this. The risk of spending more money doesn't work for me since the phone is only about $25 more than just the plain front glass replacement. Technology changes so fast it doesn't make a lot of sense to repair them these days. If your phone screen is broken but works, hang on to it as long as you can like I am. In 3-6 months the price will drop anyway as new ones come out. I enjoyed the video and if this man doesn't play piano, he should.

I think that's a bit unnecessary to have to rebuild a phone for a glass repair

7:27 "if it separates this chrome ring, it's screwed" it would have been nice to emphasize the importance of this BEFORE beginning this part of the process, and how to protect the ring. Mine is now screwed, happened as I was following the video, I can no longer talk on phone unless I use the speaker 😭. Otherwise, instructions were great.

Got it to work. Even though the phone powered on, the front cover must be screwed in for sound to work. All Ok. Thanks once again for the great step by step video!
