Oh that’s great, i’ve been looking for an upgrade for my optoma ml500 that i’ve had for about 5 years now. But so far i haven’t liked anything. It has to be small, led, dlp, and 1080p. So yeah there we go, thanks Jay!

I just watched movies in my room in the afternoon and it's great. The speaker is loud enough for me. At some scenes, the audio was quite loud and so I had to lower the volume. If you want clear and loud/better sound, just use a bluetooth speaker. Some buttons on the remote is still confusing/not known for its function. Also the remote responds slowly. Overall, I love this projector.

This projector is too good to be true. A portable projector that has an operating system, and it has 1080p resolution. The battery sounds great too. We can watch a full movie without it being charged. That's OP.

hallo , does it has enough brightness in the dark room ? it does not look very dim ? i dont have a very long distance, for viewing so i want 1080p resolution , but 600lumens sounds a little to small... there is an option with 1280>800 with 1500 lumens , im considering , what is better in my case , to get better brightness or better resolution, what your thoughts on this ? the 720p model would be LG PW1500G.

Does the brightness (lumens) decrease once you take it off of the power source or is it 600 lumens regardless? I have the ZTE SPRO 2 and it goes from 200 to 100 lumens once taken off of its power supply (AC power).

I own this one, before buying this I did test few entry level 4K ready projectors from ViewSonic and Optoma and returned it as didn't find major difference but of course there was a major difference in price. I bought this LG projector from Amazon UK at £430 around 5 months back. I loved it, 100 inch 1080p screen (turn on your Bluetooth headphones) and enjoy the cinema like experience. it has good smart features like, built in KZbin, Netflix and WebOS to stream movies online too and you can even download apps from LG store. Also it has built in battery, so you can use without plug in to power but backup is about 1hr only. Sometimes behave little laggy to open apps but overall good experience. I can recommend this to anyone, you won't regret at this price. Cheers!

Hiya! Don't know if this is still relevant for you but you can look up colour calibration disks online. Otherwise if you have access to an Xbox one it has a fantastic built in colour calibration system that you can run through. Windows 10 may have something similar, otherwise a calibration disk would be a good bet

Yes it will rescale the 4k to 1080p since 1080p is the native. He has to many subscribers to respond to us although some of us helped get him there.

It has Web OS 3.5 which doesn't have smart apps like Alexa or Google Assistant out of the box. I'm hoping LG update this to Web OS 4 soon.

Just picked up the LG PF50KA, and its a great projector minus one thing. You can't control the throw, if you want it 80, 100, or even 120 you have to place the projector in that spot. That's a deal breaker for me because to fill the screen to projector would have to sit on the sofa. Something none of the people reviewing this project mentioned, guess LG didn't want you to know? Adjustable throw is very important when trying to size a picture to match your screen, even when having it from the ceiling.

yes that is exactly what i'm saying. You have to place the projector at the exact spot to fill the space that you are trying to fill.

Ginuwine 1969 , Every projector made is the same way. You’re judging based on your lack of knowledge. If you want to have a more flexible mounting solution look for ST or Short Throw projectors. Motorized lens shift and zoom is usually in projectors 2.5k and up. Be realistic.

Not my first projector Jones, it is my first cheap projector. So they are not all made the same. I now own the Optima 143x and it has an adjustable throw. I did consider the ST projectors they where just too big. The Optima is getting the job done, and thanks for chiming in.
