Thanks for showing the dumping action, I thought it was binding up on that one end of the tray but it looks like it is designed to. After I found the reset button, it dumped and then filled back up, so hopefully, it's working now. It basically stopped working and wouldn't dumb the ice.

I have a brand new LG Refrigerator. It is now 13 months old. Exactly 1 month past warranty and like magic it is not making near enough ice. None of your basic fix solution mentioned in this video do anything.. Is it plugged in??? Really? Here is an idea... maybe make a refrigerator that actually makes ice???

My LG just stopped making ice all of sudden. The water dispenser in the front still works, but when I try and reset the ice maker, it goes through all the motions except for dispensing water into the tray. 😢

I have LG fridge LMX 27626s-2016 model and make no ice. Tested and water is on but did not frozen for 3 days. Then freezer set for -2°F, wait for 3 days, water still liquid. But one of 2 vents was not blowing cold air. Foods in freezer thawn/soft. Water poddle collected in the bottom tray, and rubber pad on inverter compressor melted, it must be very hot to have the pad melt stick on the tray beneath the compressor. Tested several times no error codes to be seen.

I have an LG fridge with slim spaceplus ice system. I did the temperature in the ice cube door tray and it was above 30 degrees F. This happened after i thawed the fridge for 3 hours. Before i thawed it, door ice worked perfectly. Any help would be appreciated.

After defrosting the fridge for 3 hours, allow 24 hours for temperatures to stabilize. Make sure there are no blockages in the ice maker or tray, and consider resetting the ice maker according to your manual. Lastly, ensure the water supply is properly connected and free of blockages. My ice maker will make ice but it won't dispense into the bin. I have to reset to get it to dispense ice. I replaced ice maker and it is still doing same thing. I am told that thermostat maybe not getting cold enough to dispense the ice. If ice maker compartment is not cold enough what is an option next step?

Purchased the LG ThinQ last year and have had trouble with the ice maker and craft ice within 2 months after we bought it. It has been a nightmare. Thank goodness we have a small ice maker for parties or we would be buying bagged ice!

@@LGUSASupportWe have a linear compressor model and have had many issues with the ice maker. I’ve gotten it going a couple times but everytime we have a power outage the whole fridge stops working. I reset the device in the back and clear the codes and it’ll work but often not the ice maker. It is down again, the freezer is plenty cold but it seems that the ice maker part is not getting cold enough. I don’t feel anything coming out of the air vents when the doors open and they are not cold to the touch. I’m putting a thermometer in it tonight to see what it’s at. It seems LG has a lot of ice maker issues, I love the fridge though but that’s one of my favorite functions so I’m hoping I can get it going again.

Slowest ice maker I have evereeen. I saw the remark in consumer reports and never thought it would be this bad. Glad I live alone and yes I had a get together with 6 other people and I was running to the store and buying ice no wonder this model was on a big sale. Tooooo late now!

Hi! You would need to keep the refrigerator unplugged for about 4 hours to let the ice melt. Moreover, your freezer should be set to a chilly 0 degrees F or below! ^Chris

Where can I get a diagram that shows how the water flows from the inlet in the back to the water dispenser and to the ice tray? I was thawing the little tank in the bottom of the left french door, then it made ice again. Why would it suddenly start freezing there?
