Heres a little something to add to your awesome vid that might be useful and its quite fun too. Been using the Off Screen Memo a lot lately. Go to settings > pen > screen off memo. Turn on. Now, with the screen off, remove the pen/stylus. A black screen will pop up and you can now write or draw right on the screen. You can change the pen color too. Just thought I'd share for those who don't know about this function. Edit* Also, if you install Nova Launcher, you will have a normal app drawer.

the only android phone with DAB radio. It's the reason I got one recently and I think it's an outstanding thing to have. The battery will give you 50+ hours listening to the DAB (if in airplane mode), amazing really and it's good quality.

idk if you already know this but there's an eazy way to take screenshots. Go to your Settings > Display > Home touch buttons > Button combination Drag the Capture+ button to the upper image where your current home buttons are displayed. You will see a square with a line at left side corner named Capture+ it's very convenient coz you dont have to put too much effort in taking screenshots and it's fast especially if you are taking screenshots from a video.

Installing the app drawer was simple for me. I just went into the LG app thingy then downloaded the app drawer and installed without third party apps 😎 Phone is cool. My carrier is Boost and won't be paying 72 bucks every month with Cricket. I was a loyal customer for about 8 yrs. But my ass is unemployed right now just do jobs here and there do I will be able to cover my bill. lol! Love your videos, friend. Great, detailed review.

I have an LG Stylo 2v Smartphone and I KIVE IT and still use it - it is THE BEST smart phone EVER. It is so lightweight and so navigable, I've actually convinced people to dump their clunky unwieldy iPhones after showing them my LG. Meh. The experience won't be THE BEST. Last time I played it on this phone, which was a while back, it was quite decent. I don't think it will be that bad. This phone has gotten significantly slower as of lately though.

The stylo 1 had a cool option whereas if you shut your case you could still access your phone through the dial on front. Is there a way to get that back on Stylo 2?

Yes! But not all apps are able to move to sd card, idk why :( they can only be on internal storage! Any tricks to figuring out how to customize contact ringtones and notifications? It says that you can't do that for contacts stored on your phone (device memory) but 1. I figured it out! You actually have to go into the settings of the messaging app itself and set the tone to silent. I assume the draw back to this means you have to go and set every some sort of tone for every contact you have so you know when you get messages from someone else.

Hey! I'm looking into buying this phone but I'm seeing that a lot of people have issues moving apps to the SD card. That's my biggest issue with my current phone (HTC Desire 816-only 8GB storage). This phone has 2x that but how much bloatware does it have? How many apps can fit on this phone?

+Brié Levesque It does have some bloatware on it. Nothing more than what Boost Mobile usually puts. Unfortunately, it's true that it is impossible or really difficult to move apps to the SD card on this phone. I've heard some people have figured it out, but I haven't.

Not the size. The Stylo 2 Plus is just available on other carriers. The Stylo 2 Plus is also just the name of the Unlocked version of the phone. And It looks a tad bit different. There isn't much difference. Just a different name. Hope this helps!

+Uri Campos Make sure your phone isn't on silent and go into do not disturb mode. Also, go into settings under notifications and make sure notifications are on. Be sure to check the notification settings within the app too.

+Beverly Aquarius You could try putting your photos and such on an SD card. Otherwise, there are some applications on the play store they may help you out. :)

You have to format sd card in the cellphone and you'll be able to save apps on sd card. At least most apps.

+Trina Moyer Go to google. Type in LG UX 4.0 Home and App Drawer. Download the APK and Install. Open it up. Set it as your default launcher in settings! Let know know if you need anymore help.
