Normally wouldnt like or recommend or even comment but this was a very useful video you kept it short while adding your opinion aswell wich i normally dont care for when im looking up information videos i have an lg not sure the model .but your video solved my verry anoyying problem with that button .it would allways get pressed in my pocket so when i go to open my phone it would lag trying to remember and boot up the google assistant wich i dont use. Two thumbs up buddy i went ahead and hit that like button .thanks for the video .i searched and searched tgis damn phone trying to deactivate thw button .your video waa the first i watched and literally took me 10 seconds to do. Thanks so much for this video! I read tons of pages and watched a bunch of YT videos and not one helped me with my LG G7ThinQ. I kept hitting the key when adjusting volume and when I used the finger print scanner. Problem solved!

Let me know if you find a way to reassign the button itbcoukd come in handy for a number of things.. Just not that fuckin google assistant.it litterally gets hit everytime its put in my pocket them lags when i take it out of sleep mode tryna start up over what ever apo i had running that was a huge downplay for android. Ibwanna go back ti apple

Im not 100% sure but if you can map the device buttons and possibly use Automate to launch apps or anything you want.

Thsnks. Nokia: Go to Settings - and in the search bar write google - and bingo there is the option to turn it off.

why in the heavens did they make this phone so different, I hate the slim screen it looks weird, I hate every phone that has it. But I guess people hated the small hand screen which looked like thats thee size they went with. What in the world did they need ann additional side button for Id never know. I wasnt going to get it but aad paid my metro bill and wasnt about to buy a upgrade with a different carrier and buy phone + pay a phone bill again...... I only by Lg phones hate switching through multiple brands. But I definitely want to see whatt the premium phones do better
