LG TV Region & Country Change to Install applications not available in the set country.

Here I show you how to install apps only available in a region different to the default region set on your LG TV. An example of where you would need to do this is if you move countries and decide to take your TV with you. You would then want to install the applications in the local LG TV store of the country that you have moved to.

This took a lot of effort however it worked! I have a suggestion to all, if you want this to actually work create a new device in Harmony that is a LG 55EG9600. This is because the ez-adjust option has been added to harmony for this device. It will still work with any lg tv or projector however it does not require this awful setup process.

How do I disable the voice prompt on a LG webOS TV (55uk 6300 series smart tv) on the logitech remote settings? I managed to change to the USA settings (from Southern Africa), but the 'Accessibility voice prompt still remains. The TV interface shows that it is disabled, but need to delve deeper to disable it, can you help please?

Logitech Harmony do no more exist. It is not on Apple Appstore, and Logitech bricked their remote in 2017. Will this work with the official LG companion remote from the Appstore ? Or is there any way to enter EZ-Adjust with the new Magic remote ?

You will need to follow the video. Change the REGION of the TV to USA using the hidden EZ menu. The country is then the USA as well.

Easy. Still relevant for 2019 TV's. Cheers for the detail. 55SK80 purchased in the US and taken to NZ. Also there are a lot of muppets out there regarding this change. If you are getting dislikes, its from one of them. Most people want a one click fix as that is all they are capable of. This is not a one click fix.

Blank L is that a button on the remote, because it’s not on the menu.

Blank L do you mean the Adj button (EzAdjust button)? If so, I did press that button to get to the EzAdjust menu. But once in the menu, I cant change any value by typing anything (I can change some values by selecting left and right buttons on my standard LG remote, but numeric values are not being registered).

I did this but changed the code to 592 After that, I reset with the instop button, but after resetting the TV, it asks me to exit the factory mode, but the TV does not stay on for me to do so. The only thing that is model specific would be the code to access the service menu. I would not expect this to have changed for WebOS version 3. Version 2 was used for this guide. Ask someone with a harmony remote to test this for you. Unfortunately, I do not know anyone that has one of these.

For me it work. You just need to change your location. If you can't see your country in the setting. You need to select one that is near to you For example I live in Mauritius so I selected south Africa which is near to my island.

This works on my 2019 LG - 65" C9PUA, but my region code for USA is different, it is 22282. I set it to UK but it would not pick up any DTV channels, what I wanted to do was to be able to pause live TB with a USB Drive, that's disabled in the USA. Note that Anymote is indeed the easier way of doing this. As long as you are happy with Anymote accessing your address book on your phone, which you give it permission to do when you install it. I am not happy with this as I see no reason for it being required.
