not sure if this is the same thing youre talking about but, i had the same issue. it only sadi oneplus drivers for me. i had to tap on the charging status on my phone and set it for file transfer

I am one of those hurried/lazy folk that still run W7 on my Dell Laptop. I have an LG K31. I suspect your directions are for a W10 system, 'cox that little pop-up in the lower righthand corner does not appear on my PC... Can you troubleshoot for my W7 & phone ?
