What about modding like putting an bigger rom drive from 64 to 128gb? I would love to do this with my LG v40 V405TAB T-mobile. Also is there any way to unlock this phone even with modding the hardware to an V405UA motherboard ? 😲 Nice to know that you can replace the USB charger dock type C port tied to an flex cable plug. if you mean on the back panel, should be about 20.00 or so, but they are not available yet, probably in a few more months, the front glass will be a lot more, around 100.00 or so, and would require a full tear down, id advise just taking it somewhere unless you are expericed at phone repair if its the front panel, i see a few front panels listed on ebay etc.

Great video Jose. I have an LG V40 phone that is only 4 months old. The microphone doesnt work on calls (very muffled) so I can only talk if I'm on Speakerphone. Does this part with charging port have the mic attached to it as well? Thanks

Phones like this, the LCD screen won't survive a disassembly, so you would probably need an LCD and glass replacement, and then you'd still need the double sided tape to reseal the housing.
