Haha go for it! It's a good phone. It's just the Dual Screen implementation and the price tag that irks me 🤷♂️

@@hoyoungwon it's still cheaper than all the other top tier flagships by a long shot. With a dual screen. Who watches KZbin videos or Netflix at 60 fps or higher? Not most. Even gaming at a consistent 60fps is more than suitable.

Im curious to here what these better options are for $899.00. Care to elaborate?
@hoyoungwon4 жыл бұрын
Personally, I would rather get a phone with a higher refresh rate display and better software in 2020 for that price. Ex. $699 OnePlus 8 / $899 OnePlus 8 Pro or go up $100 to get the $999 Galaxy S20. That's just me though! If you don't care about refresh rate and you want that Dual Screen, the V60 isn't a bad buy.

@@hoyoungwon but what are they better at?
@charlestannehill75374 жыл бұрын
@@BudgetGamerz they're not. His decision (like so many these days) is based on aesthetics. Emotion. Bragging rights and to fit in with the current trend. This phone is very utilitarian. I love it. Using it right now. Everyone who sees it trips the hell out. Awesome for audio buffs. Gamers. Multi-taskers. Photographers. Video and content creators. Comparison shoppers. Business men. Artists (full wacom support, just like the note line - but both screens!). A Google button. Not siri or "Bixby" 🤮. But no ultra-thin bezels. Or ridiculously high refresh rate. So much more to offer, but sadly the bezels are it's downfall. 🙄

T-Mobile sells the phone itself for $799 and $899 for the dual screen. In my opinion I would just prefer getting the OnePlus 8. For $699 I feel like it offers more for the price.
@hoyoungwon4 жыл бұрын
I actually didn't know that! Thanks for sharing. And yeah, that'd be my preference as well.
@jarule80654 жыл бұрын
For $100 more you get significantly bigger battery and headphone jack..... having said that OnePlus 8 looks more refined, better screen etc.... LG should soon see a price cut to remain competitive....
@charlestannehill75374 жыл бұрын
@@jarule8065 not to mention better cameras (manual modes), build quality, etc. Nova, SwiftKey and a UX9+ theme take care of most of what people complain about. Since when are ultra thin bezels a requirement? Do you remember the forehead and chin people were rocking 10 years ago? 🤣

The V60 does support "fast" Qi wireless charging of 15W with a supported charging pad and a QC3 charger.
@charlestannehill75374 жыл бұрын
I don't have a wireless charger (never cared for it), but can you wirelessly charge and cable charge at the same time for a faster charge rate? 🤔
@zacharywebb71974 жыл бұрын
@@charlestannehill7537 No, I was saying that you need a QC3 charging adapter to power the fast wireless charging pad.
@charlestannehill75374 жыл бұрын
@@zacharywebb7197 I understand that (I know the differences between the Qualcomm QC standards), I was just being playfully/sarcastically stupid with the question. Like in, charging from two different power sources to charge faster. So the wireless charger is hooked up to a QC3 brick, and the usb c to a QC4+ brick. Get it? I know it most likely wouldn't work, just felt like chiming in with something silly.

"for 899 there are a lot of better options out there" I totally disagree, the pricing in Eerope is not good but in USA the pricing is really solid, to me it beats S20 lineup especially because of the value and what it offers
@hoyoungwon4 жыл бұрын
Maybe I was exaggerating about "a lot," but I personally would rather get a phone with a higher refresh rate display and better software in 2020 if I'm spending that kind of money. If those aren't that big of a deal to you and you see the Dual Screen case being essential, then yeah, I can see this being a good buy.
@LetsBringThePain4 жыл бұрын
@@hoyoungwon well I will be aiming at Xperia 1 or 5 Mark 2 at the end of this year and both will come with higher refresh rate, faster updates and no notch / cut out but still this LG V60 to me is a great package, especially because of the battery, headphone jack, other most important features and that Dual Screen is cool

I hear so much negative opinions on the software from every reviewer. I will say it again. The skin is fine and always has been (for me leastly). Is it bandwagon? Regardless, I always found it to be simple and easy and its especially not outdated now with the skin looking like Sam UI and everybody loves Samsung so what's the problem now? No one is ever satisfied. Oh well...
