The direct drive technology from LG is a big advantage than the old belt driven method. LG shifted to direct drive almost 17 years back. Belt driven method involves lot of maintenance in long run. Moreover , direct drive has very low drum vibrations. So go for LG

Clearly explained great comparison. I will make mechanism of both machine simple. Both machine's electric motor have permanent magnet BLDC motor type which are energy efficient & variable speed as per the load. As LG calls it Direct Drive which they directly attached motor to drum where as Bosch operates it may be with shaft connected to drum or with pully. So, I feel in this case LG has edge over Bosch because direct attachment of motor on drum will have less friction parts as compared to Bosch machine. Also, Low wear & tear, Low maintenance, less noise better reliability though Bosch optimized their Eco Drive Mechanism this is the reality what I can understand. So both are good in their standards anyways. Hope it helps who are confused with technology.

Sir direct drive motor not good.. Bcoz once ur drum problem strt then u bound to change full compete set... So why u extra pay in that case... Bosch washing machine used 3 suspense or 3 spring its work perfectly lock to drum no noise or no vibrantion chances.. Or one think bosch washing machine used imported parts there body are electticshock and water proved

LG gives 10 years motor warranty and believe me, I’ve been using direct drive LG FL since 16 years and the machine is still solid without any issues. Moreover, DD has very less sound. I can say almost nill. We can only hear the spinning sound. No vibrations too.

I have a bosch machine and it has the worst service in any washing machine brand. I suggest you guys to purchase LG for the peace of mind + bosch machine needs water pump since that machine requires water pressure of 1 litre per 6 seconds (see complaints in forums or quora) . Definitely not recommended for Indian conditions. Bosch might have better build quality but over LG but overall as a washing machine for indian conditions LG is far better. Note - Our family had a LG machine which worked perfectly for 12 years and the recent Bosch machine which doesn't even works properly for 4 years. And moreover bosch is not even suitable for hard water conditions

Those who worry about Bosch spares cost or service...I'm sharing my experience... First of all its Bosch. The brand name speaks for itself. I bought this washing machine from Vijay sales for 36k in May 2022. Bosch overall comprehensive warranty is for 3 years on complete set and 12 years on Motor. Took extended warranty from Vijay Sales for 2 years. Any issue with the product, I can just contact Vijay Sales. They will look after it for coming 5 years, which is a very fair deal. Also, in case of unavailability of spares or if the product gets discontinued, I will be credited back my 36k to purchase any item in Vijay sales. Also, those who want wifi connectivity for washing machine must live in Elon Musk Mars colonies, not on Earth. End of the day, you want clean clothes, so choose the best one wisely

Bro power consumption in Bosch got reduced by 0.10 kWh...now it's 0.70 kWh..for waj2846sin😀..and one more thing small rats can enter in washing machine from the below surface one should keep in mind to resist that holes before installation....own experience..I think it would beneficial for new buyers.
