My prior LG front loading model had a setting on the dial called "Bulky / Large" and it's been replaced with "Heavy Duty." The bulky / large setting added extra water and ran for about an hour, maybe a few minutes more. The new heavy duty cycle runs for 1:45. Sure, you can download a cycle called "full load wash" but it runs for 2 hours. LG is out thinking itself.

0:30 "It is normal for there to be no visible water line on the door". Then ten seconds later at 0:40 the graphic shows the water at a very visible water level on the door. A photo of how much water is expected in the machine would be very helpful. It's too bad that in the name of "water efficiency" you made a product that performs right on the edge of proper functionality, one or two extra gallons of water costs nothing and doesn't make any difference on overall water savings, especially of you have to wash things twice.

It's not efficient if the clothes aren't getting saturated and CLEAN. This is the 3d time I've pulled out the wash and the clothes are nearly dry, which means they have to get washed again. And this was a SMALL LOAD. Stop with the ridiculously low-flow and give us a machine that actually washes.

​@@LGUSASupport no to mention loads that do get saturated sufficiently but still come out smelling dirty. (sweaty, etc...) I've washed 5 pairs of cargo pants, definitely not overloading a 5 cu. ft. washer, and had them, after a "heavy duty" cycle with an extra rinse still come out smelling like they did going in.

FYI: The PUSH "button" to the right of bleach dispenser is to release the entire drawer so it can be removed for cleaning. Push it down to release the catching tab at the back of the tray and pull the entire drawer out for cleaning.

You need to change your stupid manuals. They actually say you can fill the entire drum as long as the door closes easily. If I had known your washers couldn't get a large load clean, I never would have bought it. I will not be buying another.

I consider myself an environmental friendly freak. In LA area I ride bike for 20 km to work. But I am mad about the water conservation by this washing machine. Clothes are same dirty while it spins 1+ hour (using electricity partially from coal). Please simply add more water to have the job done! The government dump tons of water in the lawn in fron of the city hall, and telling me to save water on washing machine...

This washing machine is a joke, the only way to get the minimally acceptable amount of water for a NORMAL load of laundry is to put it on heavy duty which takes over 80 mins to complete. Blankets come out half dry and anything stained you are better off hand washing. I'm so deeply disappointed, paid an arm and a leg for trash.

This washer is a joke. It doesn't get clothes clean at all. I'll be returning this poorly engineered washer to Lowes to be exchanged with a different brand that understands the need for proper volume of water to achieve clean clothes.
