This is still in my search for real power. Real power would come in the form of a motor that can do good horse power, and generate good amps and volts. Also want to pump water, so good horse power. The input must not shoot a battery off the shelf in 5 minutes. To achieve this I tried out these LG washingmachine motors. And so far after months of playing around I do feel that I am in a good space. I am no expert in this, like most people searching in the dark. I do have some basic understanding of AC and electronics. And a curious mind. Enjoy and do subscribe, it helps. Keep it real out there! Ciao.

Nice setup. There are several ways to have a steady RPM but it's not clear how the connentions are made: *3phase generator with a 2phase rectifier? *2 battery chargers in series? *How are the speedcontroller, display, fuse block connected? A simple schematic could help.

Hey Dancer. Thank you. Thanks for comments. I have update on this. So two phases going into three phase rectifier, I now have all three phases going in three phase recitifier. So sorted. I get a little more volts, I get 13+ volts now. I made some progress on amps in, watts in. I now am 40% less watts in than before. Same output! So that is super efficient. Ill make follow up video for you. Speedcontroller connection. The cheap china controller has an connection for a dimmer switch. Simple. Let me know if you have any ideas how to lower input, or up torque, or rpm. I need to get to a point where this generator can give useful power. Or the motor can drive waterpumps super super efficient.

Fantastic work, Jakes. We are working on something similar. How did you get short dead short amp value? Do you know if your generation coil is al or cu? We are using both and confirm that the cu provides much higher amps. Playing around with different wiring configurations to see what comes out. Keep the momentum going 💪 🇿🇦

Thank you Brent! aluminium will never give you the performance as copper does. Cu will give more torque on motor and more amps as pmg. Link two dd together and make one a motor another a pmg. Dead short the pmg side. Keep going you will learn a lot for your own benefit. Thanks for watching. cioa

You are loosing more power than you are gaining... It can't sustain itself yet. On 25amps charge, your rotor motor will likely consume 7amps at 60v (450Watt) while your 25amps gain on 12v produces 300watt. More improvement needed sir! All the best!

I'm not sure what you are doing there, you are using the primary washing machine motor as a drive for rotating the second washing machine motor ? If yes, why ? Why not some other more efficient motor ? Did you rewired the motors? Did you add magnets? How many rpm do you approximate for constant amperage amd voltage on output? And by the way, thank you for sharing your work, I appreciate it 🙏
@jakesvandermescht694

It is my pleasure. Yes primary washing machine motor to drive second one. First motor, second pmg. Why DD washingmachine? Because I can turn the stator myself easily in different config for motor and pmg. It is hard to do it with other stators. And I could get some of these in South Africa. I used magnets that was in there. I did neos magnets with terrible results. A secret to this is not to make your magnets too strong. RPM goes up to 500rpm with about 60v 2amp, with torque, serious torque, 300watt. Its my best results. Motor turn freely at 200rpm with 35 watt!! No off the shelf AC motors can do that, Im talking 2000w motors that can deliver proper torque. Its a playground to learn. learn about pmg and motors. What would you say would give me more torque, more efficient? The idea is to collaborate and make the next. Thanks for watching. Ciao.

@@jakesvandermescht694 thank you. Yes you can use a double bench grinder with 200 W power to initiate the generator's rotation, the grinder has enough force to give you 500 rpm or more, there are also double grinders with 30k rpm if you want to take off or to make a small power plant

Strands at 3 meters per pole and rewired the other 18 pole with 1.5mm for generation part all in one motor running it with 48 1000 watts controller. With just that I can get 425 volts and if I lower the speed I can have 2000 watts cooker coil. 2 pcs turn red hot very fast. No need for storage batteries etc
