To work more speed and torque on lower voltage you must re wire the coils of same phase on parallel method for example wire wire every coil of phase 1 in parallel just take the start and the end of evrey phase 1 coil and join all starts toegether and all ends together and do the same thing with the 2 other phase that will make you able to run this motor with the same speed and torque that was when its running on 220v but with 12V onlyyyy but it will pull more current amps so make sure that your controller board can handle it and good luck

Coincidentally, I purchased the same BLDC driver a few weeks back to see if it could run a similar drum motor. I tried this with a bench power supply and it did not work. It was jerky at best. Now I find this video doing the same thing but with batteries and it runs well. I'll have to try one more time, with a battery. But it shouldn't make any difference.

You would have to reconnect the series-connected coils in parallel to get the motor to run faster at a low voltage. You'll also need more current to get the same torque if you do this.

it should be understood that the (mains) power rating is 1320 AC Watts. at the moment, it appears that you have NO IDEA what the Actual dc power consumption is. ( 1200 dc watts equals, 12v x 100 amps. or 36v x 33.33 amps. ) since the controller has not melted-down, the dc current draw is probably Not this high. if current draw is, say, 5 amps, the dc power consumption would be 60 or 180 dc watts. googletranslate
