Not surprised that gold star is controversial these days. I’ve had women say some shady and sarcastic shit to me when they ask if I’ve ever had sex with men. It’s weird. I personally don’t care if they had sex with men or feel like I’m somehow more of a lesbian than them. But I know that there are other lesbians that use the term to make themselves feel superior in some way. It’s a term that can def cause division within the community. Same goes with platinum star gay.

Hi Alanah I have a dear friend who was born intersex and his parents decided that he should be female so he came out as lesbian then 10 years or so he came out as Male.
