The fact is Repentance to Sin HAS to be honest, full of the regret and done with heart. I was an atheist once and I was struggling with depression and suicidal thoughts. ​@RajKnowles don't feed the temptation and actually be progressive in rejecting what isn't good. Because we all have a choice, whether to indulge in the bad thing or to reject it. Going to God and just asking to stop it isn't how it works, asking Him for guidance and strength while being progressive on your own is how it goes. Giving it a legitimate chance to come into fruition and seeing the quality of life improve is how people know God spoke to them. Also, the bible says that men who sleep with men won't enter into heaven. 1Corinthians 6:9 In Leviticus 18:22, the bible says that man should not lie with man as with woman because it is an abomination. There are over 20 references to homosexuality in the bible. Those people are confused. It is confusion when you think wrong is alright. If you don't believe the bible, just look at the science that so many atheist like to cling to. A man from any nation or tribe can have intercourse with a woman from any other nation or tribe and have a baby. However, two men from the same Nation, tribe, ethnicity (whatever) can never make a baby together. You can't get a clearer example than that. What did the preacher say that was blatantly wrong? Furthermore, read Mark 10:6. You will see that Jesus talks about how God made male and female and that they become one. If homosexuality was included in the natural order, He would have included that. Anywhere homosexuality is written in the bible, there is scripture against it, not for it.

As I was driving by a sign in front of a church building, I read the words, "receive the love of the truth that you might be saved." (2 Thessalonians 2:10) I knew Jesus said "I am the truth." At the time I was caught up in a relationship that was wrong, and those words stabbed me like a flaming spear. I asked the Lord to help me, I knew if there was a way out, Jesus was IT.
