I can't believe the quality of that split screen effect. Natural light, a moving background of trees, a camera position almost impossible to lock down, its incredible. I know it was only for a thirty second clip, but its still incredible to me to see how seemlessly it stiched together. And six years ago, no less.

When I was kid I asked my parents to hide my presents and leave notes with hints as to where they could be. My thought process was, I like finding things that are hidden and they are gonna be good as it is Christmas. I was then tasked with doing the same for my little sister where I'd make it incredibly hard and legend of Zelda themed.

Day 3 (?) I have been lost in this city of log houses, Though the more I go deeper in the more the wooden palisades remind me of a fortress, and endless hellish wooden fortress. The dancing snowmen at first were frighting now their spaztik silent dancing are a comfort in this lonely hell. The snow, the endless halls and the forever twilight are nothing compared to the loneliness. Why are there homes with no people? Why is their no one about? Why is every door locked?. The only thing that has kept me alive is finding presents sometimes filled with candy or other sweets and eating snow. I sometimes kill fairies not because I want to but because i need to in their guts... in their guts are keys.... I know whoever is watching me in this frozen hell put them there. I know someone or something is watching me... I'll get out of here soon enough. I have to just keep moving forward. Goodbye for now journal.

Prezzie is pretty funny in retrospect. For a free little game that one man made for fun today you could go on greenlight and charge ten dollars for a early access game with less features and roughly the same level of graphical detail.

As someone who loves exploration games such as LSD Dream Emulator (Would be a super neat review !) and Yume Nikki, this game is real neat. I love the low quality graphics and the lack of... anything alive. I honestly would love to create something based upon this engine. Perhaps with a linked open world and and objectives !

This game totally reminds me of all those demos and shareware Mac games I used to get from CDs provided by magazines like MacAddict and whatnot. Loved the holiday special ones, especially one particularly merry Space Invaders clone where you defended your Mac from the evil PC menace! Good times.

Ah, good old Midi music. There's some charm to it when done right. ...and total blasphemy when done horribly.
