Just what i needed! your videos have walked me through this and the back seat kit. Neither kit came with anything more than jiberish for instructions!

I'm so glad the videos helped! We are in the process of remaking and making instructions for these parts . . . trying to get rid of the jiberish :)

Also didn't cover brake switch? Dumb to me to go under the cart for the wiring where there's a channel right down the center for such as this under the floor mat.

Hi Bryan, This video is just for the harness, which is why it did not include brake instructions. The brake options can be found here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r3PJg5lmnqdjaLs

NEVER connect a load to a single battery that is part of a series connected battery pack. You WILL reduce the life of that battery. You should put in a 48v to 12v DC - DC converter.

You are correct. It will reduce the life of that single battery. We recommend using a voltage reducer in cases like this but some people do like to install it to one battery. Some of our light kits now are capable of 12-48V. Always check the voltage requirements on each kit and accessory before you install it to be safe.

awesome way to kill your new batteries!!! do it right and hook it up to a beefy 48v to 12v converter!!! amateur!!! smh

We do suggest to hook up the harness to a voltage reducer in the instructions. Not all users want to use one. This video is just for the harness, not a reducer.
