You can tell there was a lot of thought that went into this kit to keep shipping costs down and installation simple. Also the fact the light kit has true and separate DRLs, low beams, high beams, reverse lights and even has two accessory light options built into the switch! Awesome body kit! I hope an RXV version will be in the works!

Great kit One request is to make the wiring harness about 6 inches longer coming from the turn signal assembly. It would be nice to have a little play to be able to get it into the dash and hide it better

Can I plug a sound bar into any of these accessory wires? I don’t want to have to buy another voyage reducer unless I have to.

Great video; this really helped with the install of my kit. Question I have is how do you prevent the brake lights from staying on when using the parking brake?
@jimr28042 жыл бұрын
Never mind, I figured it out. There is a 3 minute delay timer that turns the lights off.

Followed everything to the letter for my 2016 TXT. Glad I checked everything before riveting the rear body panel. The headlights and taillights aren't working. I'm getting the daytime running lamps on the first lever rotation, but headlights nor taillights come on when rotating it to the second position. The horn, turn signals, hazards, reverse lights, all work great. The headlights and taillights do come on briefly when I engage the highbeam position. Any ideas???

Did you ever figure this out? I'm just curious, I haven't bough one yet and wondering how much support is available.

@@slisondra Never got an answer to my emails. I disassembled the switch assembly and found two wires were completely disconnected from the harness. Works fine now.

Anyone know the make and model of the lift kit? I'm currently building a custom cart and i have looked everywhere and can't find the lift kit that is on the cart in the video. It is exactly what i'm looking for and as it goes really well with the cart and the brush guard. I even went to the website and looked around and was not able to find it

@@brandonnickerson3077 Thanks for responding. I actually got it on order nearing my 8 week wait so hopefully it will come in soon. But just an FYI for anyone who wants to use this lift kit and the MadJax brushgard featured in the video then you will either need to get a welder to fabricate the grill to fit or find another lift kit or brush guard as it states on Nivel that MadJax brush guard is not compatible with Jakes Long Haul.www.nivelparts.com/product/57508/madjax-brush-guard-for-storm-body-kit-years-2001-5-up.

Fantastic body, well designed and great instructional video. However, it is time for an updated instructions and video. The newest body (2023) comes with a light changing module that is not even mentioned in the instructions and the hazard switch is built into the turn signal assembly, so the step to mount the hazzard switch is no longer needed. I wasted a great deal of time on these two items. Still a fantastic kit!!!!

What does this light changing module do? I can’t find documentation on this thing anywhere!
@steveristau1039 Жыл бұрын
@kevinedwards5502 It allows you to operate the headlights in a color changing pattern. Default is Red, Green, Blue that fadrs from left to right. With the app, you can select other colors, make it faster or slower etc.
