I recently sold my Lil Joes vest due to my old age expansion. I hated to let it go but couldn't justify keeping it hanging in a closet when someone else could get some use out of it. It was by far, one of the best pieces of leather I've ever owned and I've owned plenty over the years. Really enjoyed the story. Thanks.

I will be giving my Lil Joe's vest to my grandson, he has had his eye on it for quite a while and will cherish it as well as put a lot of miles on it.

Took his bike and sold it 😂 squared off with sonny. Thats pretty much defines his character as a member. Respect. Raiding his coffin is worst thing ive ever heard. Just on principle for him being a member. I would of stomped anyone disrespecting the patch like that. Thank you again sir. Grreat stories. I always said little joes and stand corrected.

Merry Christmas to you and yours George. This story was one of your best. Lil Joe sounded like a real character. Those grave robbers that took his possessions out of his casket should be ashamed of themselves. Respect has became a thing of the past. At 70 years old part of me is sad about being so old and part of me is glad it’s almost over for me because I really don’t like the way the youngster guns lack respect for the men that pioneered this lifestyle. Keep the stories coming, they remind me of better times.

Thank you,George! I grew up in far Northern California, where many of my neighbors in the coastal hills were affiliates or patched members laying low. As a kid some of those guys were rightfully scarey but others were like kindly uncles who would guide you and let you know you were looked after. My buddy's dad was a millwright who built a few bikes for The Red and White. All this to say thank you for simple truth and not the pure bullshit dished out forever by TV and movies. I'm curious to hear anything you may be able to share about The Boozefighters.

i used to see them at “The Colton Auction” ( swap meet) San Bernardino. They sold rings wallets , hand made macrame plant hangers, there was a booth with tarps to form a tent, inside was ceramic “pot pipes” The first time I saw the bikes up close. 1974. My dad was from Wyoming he said those guys are Rabble Rousers.

My Uncle Charlie Anderson was a member in Berdoo, he died in 85. He liked choppers, with 6 foot forks. I remember he moved to AZ in the early 70s for a bit. Charlie was arrested for drugs, I think, and one of the cops married his wife! The wife lived in Riverside? Any way, I really looked up to my uncle, if you know of him, please pass it on, TY! Dave
