We are pleased to feature this violin made by Li Zhihua in 2023. Based on the Guarneri del Gesu 'Cannone' 1743 violin, this instrument is constructed using European maple and Italian spruce, and features an interesting antiqued oil varnish with reddish-brown orange colors. The sound is powerful, warm, and clear.

This is quite a beautiful instrument with a deep penetrating sound. Is the maker Li Zhihua, the same person who also runs a workshop in Beijing called Floraparts or Beijing QiSheng musical instruments? I was not able to find any information on the maker in Crenoma, Italy.

Deep, resonant. Looks very well made. Even the upper register has a damp, quieting quality to it. I mean it isn't shrill, and severely bright. Nice. You play very well.
