A superb footballer and he seems to be a lovely man too. Ireland's greatest ever player IMO.

MY childhood football hero when growing up in the suburbs banlieus in BSAS , got lucky to get free to air tv and Diego was in the italian league, Liam Brady was such a talented midfielder , those number 10 at the time a joy, Brady, Maradona, Platini, Michel Laudrup, Zico, and many more

There are great effective footballers but Liam was both effective and had a beautiful style of play

As a Newcastle fan, I hated Arsenal. They took Supermac off us and they had the best midfielder I'd ever seen. That was Liam Brady.

I am 57 year old and Liam 'Chippy' Brady was a hero to me growing up going to see him play at Highbury was an honour and a privilege, which I will never ever forget. He was a magician, and I loved him. He is without doubt the greatest player I ever saw playing for Arsenal, and if I ever have the great honour to meet him I would love to be able to shake him by the hand, and thank him for all the pleasure that he gave me growing up. He will always have a special place in my heart.

I`m 59. My hero too. The fact that, at the height of his late 70`s Arsenal fame, he lived literally 70 yards from us, was an added bonus growing up.

He was one of Europes best midfielders from the late 70s until the mid 80s. He might be still remembered in Britain but on the continent??...I do have my doubts.

It was amazing that when he finished with RTE there wasn't even a minute of montage of his career, on and off the field. It was shameful.

One of the keyholes in Glenshesk, was friends with my Uncle Les who passed on very recently, a story that shows the measure of Brady, just after he signed for Juventus he played a fundraiser on the Skerries road after my Uncle Tony died tragically doing tug-o-war, imagine Juventus new signing changing in the back of a car in a field in Rush! What a man.

When Liam Brady moved to Italy it was full of Italians. The Juventus team was entirely Italian. Now it's suffering under mass African immigration so you're not going to have as good an experience as Liam did

oh really so what was the experience for the aboriginals of Australia who are suffering under colonialism who are third class citzens in thei own country , right now the same for the Native americans , or San men of South Africa scumbag
