Elliotte works for the biggest telecommunications company in Canada and this is the connection he gets.

Is it just me or is the audio kinda screwy on this episode? Elliotte is talking super fast randomly.

I completely agree with Friedman about video reviews! It's a hockey game not a possible new world record long jump!

56:10 Easy way to fix the Offsides and Goalie Interference Challenges & Reviews. Put an extra Ref *OFF* the ice with Dedicated Screens / Cameras for each Blue Line and Each Goalie, constantly monitoring. This Off Ice Ref can review live within 30 seconds of entry and blow it dead for offsides or call it clean, then you just take away offsides challenges all together. It shouldn't come down to a million angles with 1mm gaps.. Same with Goalie Interference, still allow challenges since the play is already dead after a Goal, but, the *Off Ice Ref* can start reviewing immediately after each goal and he'll only submit his opinion / evidence to the On Ice Refs *IF* a challenge is made. More support for On Ice Refs who may miss certain things, and much less time wasted on reviews / challenges.

Sorry Elliotte, but pretty sure Dave Parker got the nickname 'The Cobra' because of his hitting stance and/or his quick bat.

The Sabres organization appears to be poison for top level talent. There's too many instances as Elliott pointed out and it's now a trend. I remember clearly when Vegas gave up a really talented and young core player in Alex Tuch in order to acquire Eichel and at the time given Eichel's medical issues and trending for each player, this deal had the potential to turn into the fleecing that Montreal did when they acquired Suzuki from VGK. Tuch was then and remains now a great player, he didn't magically turn into a pumpkin. Same with Tage Thompson and several other really talented players that consistently crop up for the Sabres. Something is rotten in Buffalo and whatever it is, the coaching turnover or whatever else they are doing is clearly not helping.

If a small-time player can be traded, I think anyone should be fair game especially when high paid players have more resources available to them.

Weren't the Rangers one of those teams that had quite a number of NMCs when Vegas/Seats were entering into the league? Would Mr Sather and company not have put up some of those guys had they not had NMCs at the time to begin with? Good video.

15 teams is too many and will handcuff a team. If they are all outside of the division or close to the cap, then it can become many more teams, in effect. What GM really wants to trade a marquee player within a division?
@retflo25832 күн бұрын
Elliotte, you need to get Kyle to understand that the world is not fair, then video review will make sense, and there are no palm trees in Buffalo.

This is the first episode I’ve listened to since Jeff Marek left. Hearing Elliot say he would go back out and play just like Tom Wilson is rediculous. Seriously Elliot? You’re an insider, you shouldn’t be putting yourself in a real hockey players skates. Stick to trades and news…
