leegsy It wasn't to do with talking too much shit lol, but you're right the cigarettes and alcohol (excuse the pun) and other drugs fucked him, especially considering how he screamed a lot of the songs. It's a shame to, the really early tunes in '93-94 (for example Up in the Sky acoustic) he had a beautiful voice.

Rok Fish Never heard an acoustic Liam Up in the Sky, just Noel. Will look for that. I used to have an Oasis unplugged CD which had a few performances by Liam. His voice was good then, very distinctive. It's sad to hear later Oasis live performances, Liam's voice is just gone. Plus he sings the songs so fast they don't sound right.

The problem Liam's got is he grew up watching Shaun Ryder. Then he started trying to emulate him (big mistake). Shaun was and is, genuine Liam isn't (in my opinion). Liam is an act. Look at Shaun's interviews in the early 90s he could give eye contact he didn't wear stupid bloody sunglasses indoors. Also Liam's brother has inherited all the talent in that blood line.
