Aryo Taheri yeah I'm a huge Metallica fan but that interview really pissed me off. Blur defined the 90's and a lot of people forget that they actually outsold Oasis. They were huge and didn't need to hide behind any façade to prove how great they were. You ask anyone about Oasis they focus on their attitude and their looks..you ask anyone about Blur and it's about how great their music was. Damon's songwriting, Graham's guitar..that was special. The musical relationship and chemistry between Coxon and Albarn will never be replicated. I love Oasis but their music was mediocre, people loved them for their attitude, Blur was a different story.

Aryo Taheri lets also not forget that their longevity far surpassed that of Oasis. They're still going with amazing music whilst Oasis broke up nearly ten years ago. Their solo music and music as a collective is far more superior to Noel's and especially Liam's (I eagerly anticipated his album and was really rather let down). Also although he played with simplicity I'd take Dave Rowntree over Lars Ulrich any day. Don't get me wrong I am a huge Oasis fan but I wouldn't rate them against Blur and I believe the whole feud they had was fuelled with Oasis' jealousy.
