It all depends on where you live. I was born and raised in Melbourne (in the suburbs) and I have never seen a snake, crocodile or a deadly spider in my entire life. The only spiders I've come across are those daddy long legs ones and they're pretty cool cause they don't do anything. If you live in the country, outback or rural/remote areas, then you will definitely come across them more often.

Actually we still get the queens stamp of approval and she had the power to dissolve parliament etc basically she can pull the mum card if we get to mental or she really doesnt like a law or whatever we pass. The governer general speaks on her behalf i think atm its julie bishop anyway shes consider the queens rep and gives the crown stamp of approval but nowadays it is mostly formality and the queen doesnt really exercise the power at all more like a figurehead but you know its not a bad thing and id still say where independant being in alliance under the commonwealth like canada doesnt make us less independant it just makes us smarter not to burn our bridges for the sake of 'freedom' or the illusion of independence. No nation of earth is ever truly independent will all rely on the same earth and people to make our lives worth existing. Our money with the queen on it is the best in the world technologically its easy to use and the hardest to counterfeit.
