Being an economics major I did research on the fluctuation of poverty in the USA over the past 50 years [Non-partisan government statistics]. I do crypto, but I will never buy memecoins. Only one I owned was DOGE and I sold it back in 2021 as Elon went on SNL to tell everyone "it's a hustle." The people who buy them and see these meteoric rises in price tend not to sell, they sit on those gains all through the bull market, greedily hoping that their 100x turns into a 1000x -- they get emotionally attached -- and then they ride the price all the way to the bottom in the bear market. A lot of them get despondent when the price drops below where they bought in, and sell, at a loss. Some memecoins have done well over multiple cycles and seen overall price increases, so some people have held over multiple market cycles and seen those 1000x returns, and they are also mostly just sitting on those gains now, not cashing out. This is all incredibly risky, having these emotionally attached investors who buy in near highs and sell at lows. It's far more volatile than other cryptos, both to the upside and the downside. And you never know if some whale (coughELONMUSKcough) is going to rug pull you at the most convenient time for them and destroy the memecoin in question. In essences, they are all pump n dump schemes, with varying schedule lengths.

We can't say there will be any larger correction unless we continue to fall well below this support level. Also, crypto is not responding this way, Bitcoin is holding over $100k and even alts aren't dipping. This means there is no black swan freak out. It's just stochastic behavior in the stock market, as usual. If today turns out green, this just means we're continuing to ride the BMSB and the stock market is just fine. Also, cutting interest rates is generally going to be favorable, and that's what the Fed is now doing. QE is on the way. Absolutely, assets will do well in 2025 and it's the American economy (the little guy with no assets) that gets buried. My fear is that AI-enabled robots are soon going to make all human jobs obsolete, with no turnover to new industries, making UBI the only ethical solution. But will Trump ever implement true socialism? No. It will be $2k stimulus checks and a You're Welcome Letter.... signed. While other modernized countries immediately enact UBI as it is needed, the US, led by Republicans, will drag its feet. They don't even want to honor Social Security, and they won't accept universal healthcare, so no way are they doing Universal Basic Income..... they would rather die first. These are the coffers they're trying to raid, they don't want to give even MORE of it to their victims! I suspect it's going to come down to violent revolt, as Americans are evicted from their homes and apartments and forced into the streets with no jobs and no money. It will be worse in some industries and states than others. And when the violence begins the robots will be rolled out as police units, to quell the revolt. It will be ugly. The cost of Trump's desire.... to sleep now in the fire. Maybe things will change after that though, maybe that revolt will be the kick in the pants the US really needs to make big changes.
