"Chase two, shake the same"
@jacobs78602 жыл бұрын
I think that means that the catcher was going to put down the number two for a curveball, and then Hendricks would shake his head no to get to the number one for the fastball. Which would be a little bit of trickery because usually, the hitter thinks that the catcher would put down the number one and then if the pitcher shakes, it means that he’s going to throw a breaking ball. So they have to mix it up.

A pitcher mic'd up while he's pitching? During an all star game? And while he needs to close out a game? This dude got some real cohones. Maybe he can work on having more self control over his tongue. More control of his emotions and more control over his breathing. It'll help him remain more relaxed. He could work on his breath work to learn better to slow it down during action. But I've learned in a short time from watching highlights and replays that this man is more than just fearless. I started learning of him when the news broke that the Mets have been targeting him to add him as the prominent set up man to Diaz. I never saw any pitcher "meaningful game or not" mic up during a game. I wouldn't recommend it. He wasn't going to be talking. Hehe. Hearing that commentary go on in your ear...thats only distracting. Did the announcers expect for him to respond to them? Hehe Let's see if the news breaks that a deal has been done with him, Steve and the Mets. It's been quiet and I haven't heard no mention of any other team closing in. It could be the Mets all the way. We will see probably soon. I believe Steve wants him. It'll add an edge with fire to that Mets bullpen to say the least.

Not for nothing I might as well say it. You could have a cursing issue. But it goes deeper than that. It's lack of patience to the degree where when things don't go your way even if it's for one pitch, you're not patient enough and don't have the self control to just take a really slow deep breath and just remain poised and reserved even on the inside. I say that because for example, you might not curse out loud but you can remain quiet and just be cursing on the inside in your mind. There's some anxiety there because you want things to happen quickly and as perfectly as they can be. The best thing is to pray to God to help you and here's the thing. You don't want to be cursing with God in it using God's name in vain to express that you are being annoyed due to your own lack of not being poised enough. It is a selfish thing. But regardless of the reason you don't want to use God's name in vain. If you're still weak where you can't control your tongue and it keeps being an issue, just keep God out of it. And if you don't believe in God because you don't believe in His Son, then, my prayers go out to you or whoever it is, that you believe the gospel in time. This is why I say, the change of atmosphere in the Mets club house with guys like Nimmo and others could be really good for a guy and player like Hendricks. I hope for the best.
