I'm not from New Zealand, but I love the country and its people. Seeing a young talent like Liam get a well-deserved chance in Formula 1 makes me feel proud, and I'll be cheering him on.

As an Aussie i am disappointed as to how DR was handled in regards to the way he had to say goodbye but if it cannot be another Aussie to take his seat i.e. like Oscar at McLaren i am glad it was a Kiwi, Liam you deserve a seat in F1 now go show them how the southern hemisphere does it. Hopefully we will see a a podium with just Aussies and a Kiwi on it

Immensely proud of the Liam Lawson camp. When they say "it takes a village", never truer for Liam and his financial backers. Go well young man. We believe.

RB have messed this up so much! Give Liam the ride for 2025 and they should have done better by Danny. They should have announced his last race and sent him off! Madness.

I wonder if Liam Lawson will try for racing number 95 by any chance? Lightning McQueen's number from Cars
@CharlzrpАй бұрын
that would be so cool if he did. last year in f1 he raced with number 40. drivers sometimes change their numbers though, ollie bearman had two different numbers this season (mainly bc he raced for two different teams)
@Max_FlashheartАй бұрын
@@Charlzrp 38.39,40,45,36,37,50 and 51 have been used as temporary numbers - from the wiki and 95 looks unallocated.
@CharlzrpАй бұрын
@@Max_Flashheart oh interesting, i didnt know about temporary numbers. thanks!
@Max_FlashheartАй бұрын
@@Charlzrp Yeah that is why sometimes reserve or rookie drivers will use a number already used. So 40 for Liam Lawson and Paul di Resta. 17 is retired in honor of Jules Bianchi and 1 is reserved for the WDC.
@CharlzrpАй бұрын
@@Max_Flashheart yeah I knew about the other two. but the temp numbers are news to me. cool to know. so do you think in Austin he will be racing with a number other than 40 or will that only come if he gets a deal for next year? #95 feels more and more likely haha

Liam, i hope you grab this opportunity with both hands. But don‘t trust Marko. Jump ship when you have an opportunity unless RB has a great car for you to do well. Watch your back.

So happy for Liam, well-deserved. I wish he'd be in a cooler team though, the RB 'family' is as toxic as it gets. The treatment of Dani Ric in Singapore, the handling of this all was disgraceful beyond words.

Dude what planet are you on, he’s not deserving of an F1 seat, far better drivers out there. Liam did an unbelievable job last years races where's Daniel was out due to being a dummy and not letting the wheel go before hitting the wall,,Also F1 is being ruined by pay drivers like Stroll, Sergio, Logan, Yuki, Schumacher (lurking like a floating turd),,, Hamilton is an overrated cry baby that needs to retire but Ferrari bailed him out,,Magnuson needs to go along with Bottas,, Just strange keeping these turds floating,,

Dirty dirty tricks from RB “this was always the plan”. Together with RB being unable to sack Checo due to Mexican GP and Liberty. They then lined up DR who (despite points) is ahead head to head. Dodgy strategy call after dodgy call. Putting him out into traffic etc. all looked like they deliberately made him fail. And it all makes sense now sadly. DR going fastest ever lap (including qualifying) at Marina Bay clearly shows he’s far from incapable. Anyways… good luck Liam!
