i agree but i think he should dub over the timelapses so its not just a scatchy soundtrack when he builds a tent. he could add some music in there imo

I admired the way you stuck it out with no stove and cold rations. Your tent did stand up well to the windy weather. I wouldn't have lasted it out so well done to you.

Great video Liam. As a Tyke myself I was wondering how you would cook our traditional dish - Yorkshire pudding. Nice review of Wensleydale Cheese. Thanks for taking me with you to my favourite part of the North York Moors.

Mate, I bikepacked from Darington to Saltburn, got up on to the cliffs, pitched up and realied I forgot my lighter. I survived on Carling and Twirl bites that night. I feel your pain. Great vid.

Great video Liam, I remember hiking/fastpacking those trails growing up when I still lived in the UK, and I think I camped at that first set of rocks back in the 80's. Keep the good times coming!

Hey Liam, watching your gas cooker fail there....why not bring a tiny little BCB Stove with you, with a bag of 'FireDragon' blocks (little ethanol clean fuel tablets, they burn hot) and some matches? Then you've always got a backup cooking appliance that definitely works!

Absolutely love corned beef just on its own with salt n pepper, cant beat it. Also buy a little tin of silicone oil because it prolonges the life of your seals on gas products. That looks like its the thread though as you said. All the best from lancashire.

Hey, great vids! Watching them while im eating my dinner usually. But I was wondering if You could do a straight line mission in the future (similar to Geowizards), that would be some nice content to watch. For some reason englishmen do some great outdoor camping content. Keep up the good work!

when you get back home try a nice FRAY BENTOS pie in the oven. Steak & Kidney with crispy puff-pastry on top. But you need an oven to do it in. 20 mins and it's usually about done, on high. I am sure you will enjoy it, Liam.

I see the Moors from a distance everytime I look out of My attic bedroom window. I live in Middlesbrough and it is more than likely the lights you could see from the top of that hill you were camping on where lights from Teesside Liam.

Wrap a little bit of PTFE around the threads of the gas can, it should be reet after that 👍🏻

just turn the tent round - worth the effort if you got time. i got a trangia meths stove after various breakdowns. enjoyable!

this is crazy everytime I go to a national park I am there the same time as you, I was in the lake district between the storms after tackling snow earlier that day, and on Monday I slept in my car on the north Yorkshire coast and the day after I went up to the wainstones where you had been the day before, much more windy however but not a cloud in the sky

I got a Berghaus hiking tent on offer. You need a PhD to put it up. I hate it. You are inspiring me to give it another go. I nearly binned it a few weeks ago even though it’s only a few years old used two or three times. I am a minimalist now so if I don’t use it, it has to go 😆😆

Those stones are called the wainstomes and it’s on a popular hiking route called the Cleveland way

I was in that exact place only a month or so ago, love the North york moors, sure uve left now but u should have checked out the coastline m8, truly stunning, Staithes has a great park up for the night

I would get one of those small flat pack metal fire boxes for emergency's, cheap and weigh nothing and they work, you can always find something to burn but not in that wind.

Great video again, also you can get a replacement head for your jetboil you don’t have to buy everything new, I think the threads will have gone inside burner, nothing to do with the gas thread, you don’t have to tighten them that hard to seal and can soon strip the threads if you do, can buy on eBay, keep the videos coming, 👍😀

Great location I often camp above s town or village if possible as I love to see it all lit up on a night. I’ve had a jetboil fail in the past it’s really annoying that they can’t supply you with spare parts to repair them, not a massive fan even though I have 2🤣

Also check the small rubber seal where the burner meets the gas can. Mine failed and it was that. Cheap fix

North York moors national Park? That's been my playground since I was about 3 years old but I don't recognise that part. Also as a Yorkshireman, I've never heard of that meal you described, it does sound like a Yorkshire thing though since we eat all sorts of weird concoctions.
