I recently did the sandstone trail with a similar time in mind. I was very hopeful to get the 55k done in 12h or less. A lot of it was done through nightfall which certainly made it harder, and suffice to say, 17h of walking in total (with a 5h wild camp in between), it was eventually completed with completely shredded feet (with issues still present 3 weeks later), shin splints and what felt like a fractured hip for a good 40km. It was only 5 miles more than this with a similar incline, but man, just experiencing that after watching this has made me respect you even more because you did pretty much the same thing in half the time, which is crazy. Great going, man. Respect you a lot.

Liam, I have just discovered your videos and seeing you in Pafos, where I am so fortunate to live, I totally understand why you liked it so much. Living in Cyprus is living the dream from the coastal paths in Pafos to the spectacular Troodos mountains range where I love running the trails. Cyprus has everything, including skiing in the Troodos. Beautiful weather, swimming in clear waters of the Mediterranean. What more could anyone want😊

Do you carry a Spot or similar for geolocation in an emergency? Looks a little bit risky in places when alone.

Bought back memories this did!! Used to be up there every weekend traipsing around those mountains. Great fun, great cardio but torture on the knees and feet coming down. Fan Dance is a hard slog, only did it once and didn’t even bother timing myself😂

I will always kinda associate your channel with English countryside, Irish too, thats why I started to watch it as I found it to be very special and unique. But really could understand why so many people from England fall in love with rest of Europe and that is totally ok.

38:33 that is the way to the golden elevator 🤣 took a selfie in the golden elevator. Not sure why, something about the kid in me just felt it was time to do something I wasn't allowed to do again 🤣 Haven't done something naughty like that in decades, nobody said anything, bet most was just in shock how calmly I did it.

I saw the Eagles Nest headline I had to watch. My Husband and I went to Berchesgarden from Australia 13 years ago as it was Winter we could only get as far as the museum. The town itself was under snow and was so pretty. Thank you so much for sharing the Eagles Nest in Winter. I have finally seen what it looks like under snow. I will subscribe to your channel for more great vlogs from you.

I went to Innsbruck last summer and mainly stayed in the city, I didnt really venture out to Seefald or up near the German border. I have to say that the village of Igls is beautiful and was the views from the cable cars of Nordkette and then Patscherkofel to the South of Innsbruck. That whole region of Tyrol is definately somewhere I would want to come back to.
