we only have 2 species of snakes in sweden, the adder and the grass snake. there are two types of grass snakes, they can look very similar to adders abut many are much darker and have yellow "ears" and they love living by the water and hunting in the water. and they are non venomous.

You should try hiking Sarek sometime. It's very special up there, though more wild and a bit more dangerous because of it. You can get stuck in weather there, but it's so worth it. The landscape is amazing.
