@@dalymufc Just was about to post that. Oasis & Liam/Noel fans are more toxic & divisive than the Gallaghers! Liam and Noel do not write the same kind of songs they never did. I do not get the comparisons, and I have absolutely no clue why the majority of Liam fans feel the need to bring up Noel and bash him in order to praise Liam. Liam is doing a wonderful job on his own. Noel is doing a wonderful job on his own because he's doing what he wants to do and he is experimenting with music. And all these people that seem to hate Noel must have forgotten who wrote all those songs in Oasis that they love. Some of these fans are so thick they don't even seem to realize that many many musicians will experiment with different sounds and try to push the limits of their ability. What Noel is doing is nothing new. Just because he's writing a different genre of music doesn't mean he's a different person then the man who wrote What's the story Morning Glory or Columbia.

S. McCallum I understand that people is not that hyped with Noel solo work. I personally love it, specially the 2nd and 3rd albums. Oasis was and will always be distinguished apart from what both Gallaghers do individually. I know that and I totally understand those fans who miss those days but, as Noel once said it, "they won't come back" simply because he's not into that music vibe anymore. Some might say is better than the current one, however, I do appreciate Noel's albums for what they are.

Noel did write all of their hits. My two favorite Oasis songs were also sung by Noel. Liam now uses professional songwriters. The guy he "co-wrote" this song with also writes songs for Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, and Lorde.

@@nogoodbastid To be fair he has single writing credits on a number of the best songs on both solo albums. Yes he needs a band behind him and a producer but who doesn't? Liam writes about 4 or 5 great tunes per album, the rest is colaborative. Some of the more vibrant later Oasis singles were Liams too. The problem is himself who dismisses his ability as a songwriter everytime he is asked and jokes about his "army of songwriters" because it was a retort against a comment Noel made.

There was an interview with Noel around the time oasis brought out there final album “dig out your soul” and he said within the next 5 years our Liam will be one of the greatest songs writers around. If people are judgemental and don’t see what great songs he wrote with Beady Eye well folks we are now certainly witnessing what Noel predicted.
