How I Made $13K FAST with Etsy Digital Downloads

Great video and some great tools Liam. However, I'd want to add these points for anyone wanting to start doing this - 1. The hardest part is for the product to be discovered, even with low competition, which comes after following all the above steps. 2. Ultimately to make a revenue of $13k etc , you would have had to , as a beginner, spend a substantial amount on Etsy ads just to get people to your store. 3. Any business , even simple digital downloads, needs patience and you might have to wait anywhere between 1 to 3 months to see any decent traction when your shop is a new shop on Etsy. 4. Even after spending hundreds/ thousands of dollars on Etsy ads, you may still not see any major transactions. 5. Being resilient is key. It takes time , effort and money to build a business, even a simple one like this. You will need to keep at it for at least 6 months or more before your store automatically gets enough traction and audience. Best of luck to all trying this

This is so true. Only that 1% that made it on Etsy is sharing videos and it looks so easy. But the reality is really different. I’ve had my store for three months, followed all SEO suggestions and I haven’t made a single sale. And I can’t really afford spending on ads so I spend only a dollar a day. Besides it’s not a guarantee at all that I’d eventually have sales

I’m say this once and only once saturate is not a bad sign that’s a sign of demand. The problem isn’t saturation for most people the problem is actually no dedication to the actual hard skills required to sell anything online which comes down to basic SEO skills (Organic) and Paid Ads skills (PPC). I wouldn't in this case say it's as much a sign of demand, as it more because the barrier of entry is so low now between POD and the available tools to do it. YT videos Definitely don't help lol. I do agree that I don't think it's as bad as it seems. Because of the low barrier of entry it floods the market with 90% people who have no business being a business. The persistent who run there business properly for the long haul will be the ones who last and sell. Marketing is key

Thanks Liam for this video. I started Etsy two years ago and already crossed 90k \month. However I noticed all the influencers are just keeping the reaI secrets to themselves. I understood that after reading an eBook. Why does no one is talking on how to outrank competitor listing, how to proper off page SEO, how to gain additional traffic outside Etsy for additional exposure etc. These kind of videos will help way more to your audience.

People make these videos because they want you to know how much money they’re making. They don’t really want you to know exactly how to do it. Yes, I found very much in valuable information in an e-book that I actually purchased from Etsy on how to get more Etsy sales. Basically people who make these videos want everyone to know they’re making a lot of money and they want you to help to make even more money by watching the KZbin videos about secrets that they’re really not even going to ever reveal.

There is a different between Low Saturation in a market and a market that has what looks like Low Saturation but its actually a reasonable amount due to how niched down the demographic is, such as "Kids ADHD Digital Planners". Small, really niched down demographic, this will be a growing demographic though for a couple of reasons such as social medias bringing more awareness to ADHD in children and also the fact that most children or parents of young children will try and self diagnose their issues due to this awareness for ADHD causing more people to purchase a product like this.

There's some issues going on with Canva I presume. There are many copyright ©️ claim issues using Canva free or pro templates for POD. I do not know what is exactly the terms of use of Canva, but people are saying that shops like Red bubble and Etsy store suspended people's account for using Canva products.

I am obsessed with physical yearly calendars, so i will try and create some digital calendars in a variety of forms, ones with extra pages where you track body measurements month etc as well. I need to play around with Canva, but your tutorial has given me so many ideas. Only thing is Etsy shut down my shop when i sold jewellery because i made some earrings with Louis Vuitton style charms and they weren't happy about that. Hi Liam, thanks for this video! Straight to the point! A few questions, once a customer buys your digital product, is the PDF automatically sent to them and you do nothing or do you need to send the PDF link to each customer that buys and interact with them. I’m not sure how the customer receives the PDF. Also on Canva do you need to change the measurements of the pre-made digital planner templates? Thanks again!

There are three types available and you have to mantion it in description of the products, that types 1st is they can directly download things you don't need to do anything, 2 nd is you need to send them files physically and 3 rd is you provide them files and they'll do necessary changes,i hopw you got your answers:)

As a platform marketeer, I would suggest keeping your listings in a single Etsy store. It can be really difficult to gain traffic and views for your listings. If you bundle your stores, your sales, product reviews, traffic and visibility will also compound and grow more then when you'd seperate them per category. You can use collections, categories, section themes, etc. to make the store feel cohesive if you want, you will know how to make this look appealing to customers since you're a designer as well ;). TLDR; 1 store, increases organic growth.
