FLATHEAD FISHING WITH LURES | Anyone Can Do It.

This is the episode where the roles of my early childhood have been reversed and I'm taking the ones fishing that passed on the love for fishing that has lasted a lifetime. Growing up I used to gather bait and drift around this exact area catching the same species we're targeting today. The techniques have changed and the ethical approach to taking a feed as apposed to taking everything we caught is the only distant memory of these days gone by. I'm happy to spend this time reminiscing about the good old days and teaching these old dogs some new tricks along the way.

When I was a kid I said to dad maybe one day we could get a boat and go fishing together, never happened, dad died about a month ago. It was very nice to hear “ dad” enjoying himself. P,S taking the quintrex out in the same spots soon with my son. Fish on

Great sesh..funny how the old stereo type of fisherman WAS those old blokes with their own style,i learnt that way on an Alvey & fiberglass rob. To now,the upgrades but still the same buzz. Yeah the old boy slapped it together with sheets of aluminium mate. All aluminium frame and livewell with thermolite floor and hatches.
