Lian Li continues to innovate, and their products are of such high quality. It amazes me anyone would buy anything else at this point.
@2b2c1d22 ай бұрын
yeah well your stupidity is beyond anything else at this point as well, no offense ALL offense. do you realize that lian li makes everything they sell EA level prices? ridiculous pricing. take their fans for example, they are ridiculously priced and they aren't even very good in terms of cooling but it's about aesthetics. honestly everything they sell is half effort but double the price

I just switched to a y70 black non touch and installed the black hydroshift tl, 6 120mm infini unifans 3 reversed, 1140mm infini unifan, and already had the 24 pin mb strimer cable and modified a gpu strimer cable by attaching it to the 2×8pin cpu cable and having it run through the center grommet. I didn't get the psu since I have an A tier corsair 1000w shift but it would have been perfect in the y70. I used the included extra tube bracket so the tubes are hidden until just above the pump, and the cpu strimers run over the top of the tubes hiding them completely. I love that the l3 connect software lets you screen capture up to 3 minutes of any video to display on the screen and you can then choose what you want overlaying the video if anything. I do wish it had the same amount of customization as ique but I guess you can't have everything.

I'm upgrading my 8 year old build in the next month and plan on getting a 4090 GPU, which my current PSU won't power. Can’t see any benefit for the PSU. Would love to see longer PSUs but with slimmer designs, to allow dual chamber cases as thick as regular cases or up to 5 cm thicker. The AIO, very good idea. That would allow front fans on some cases without interfering with the AIO tubing.

I own a Kraken elite 360(2023) do you think it's worth upgrading to this?
@ChensabuakaАй бұрын
had the same thought, so I did the research, for us. Below are the specifications for each AIO. Kraken Elite 360 Pump Type: Asetek-based pump (latest gen) Pump Speed: ~2,800 to 3,600 RPM (varies by load) Pump Noise Level: ~21-36 dBA depending on the speed Pump Lifespan: Estimated to last over 60,000 hours Pump Power: Powered via SATA or a dedicated fan header Other Features: Integration with NZXT CAM software for custom curves and RGB control Lian Li Hydroshift 360TL Pump Type: Custom design by Lian Li (high-efficiency pump) Pump Speed: ~2,500 to 3,500 RPM Pump Noise Level: ~18-32 dBA depending on speed Pump Lifespan: Also around 60,000 hours, designed for long-term use Pump Power: Typically powered via a 3-pin fan header Other Features: Syncs with Lian Li’s L-Connect 3 software for control over pump curves, fan speed, and RGB The Kraken Elite 360 has a slightly higher potential top-end pump speed (~3,600 RPM), which can offer better flow rates under heavy loads compared to the Hydroshift's ~3,500 RPM. This could result in "slightly better" cooling performance during extreme workloads. The Kraken Elite 360 can potentially be a bit louder at its highest RPM. Both pumps are rated for long lifespans (~60,000 hours), but the Kraken’s Asetek-based design is well-regarded for reliability and efficiency, potentially offering a slight edge in long-term performance. both are excellent coolers, the Kraken Elite 360’s slightly higher performance potential and better software integration (NZXT CAM) give it a bit of an advantage over the Hydroshift 360TL.
@Armandocav1Ай бұрын
I agree, you gave an excellent explanation of the characteristics of the two AIOs, I currently own both and I can confirm that NZXT Cam is a more "mature" software than L-Connect 3, the thing that made me turn up my nose on the Hydroshift is that you can't adjust the speed of the pump based on the scaling of the degrees/heat, there are "only" 2 pre-configured choices, the first is a fixed speed that is constant in any scenario, the second automatically adjusts itself if you can change no parameters, the Asetek pump by Kraken AIO is less noisy thanks to the possibility of being able to configure its speed
@ChensabuakaАй бұрын
@@Armandocav1 thank you. I read quite a bit for each product but also own the kraken elite 360, and have owned various older Kraken models. For PC monitoring I’ve been using CAM for years and really enjoy its simplicity and functionality. I’ve owned other AIO’s and have always found the other programs to be really bare bones and lacking. I forgot to mention the price difference between the two; the Kraken is slightly, or a lot pre expensive depending on where you live. For context, I live in Japan and the Kraken locally is $300+ USD. In the US it’s around $220, in my current build I ordered my AIO from the states and saved a little bit of money. I’m hoping L-Connect gets more pump configurations with the hydroshift release and the likely large market share that comes with the popularity. I’m a big Lian Li fan boy right now and really like how they revolutionized fans, now power supplies and AIO’s, all relatively simple stuff too. I’m excited seeing each new release of theirs, they’re truly pioneers in the industry.
