It wasn't an easy match for Liang Jinkun ........ Seems to me Alexis lost by his lack of experience in such high class games and probably lack of mentality which I am sure he will manage to improve !!!

how many tournament titles has Alexis got? ZERO. Harimoto is only two months older than Alexis and he already has several - he got his first one at 14.

@@junyangchin8162 doesn't matter. Harimoto just got a new tournament title beating Lin Gaoyuan. Alexis is out from quarter final of European champion and never had one single tournament title. At the end of the day, skill of a person varies but only champion title counts.

Alexis won't be a top ranker. There is no future if other players get used to his unique service to some extent.

If I got up 6-1 on a top Chinese in first game, I’d stop and retire. That would be good enough.

I’d play the full game all the way through, it’s not about the result it’s about the experience (and retiring is the worst result imo). But just getting the opportunity to play one of them, even more so in an offical match is already a crazy massive feat for me🤣

Liang was not used to Alexis' style. Once he got used to it, which started in game 4, he easily won. You might surprise your opponent with all kind of tricks but at the end of the day, the solid basic skill and consistency eventually rule. Seems a surprise that China team doesn't do much research for their players now.

I think they did research him, but they don’t have a clone player quite like Felix. There’s a different between being told how someone plays and actually experiencing it, even if LJK has all the tactics required to beat Felix he first needed to get used to him before he could implement consistently

@@gab5012 I think your opinion is valid. But once LJK played with Alexis and won, next time there won't be a big surprise any more. but seems that there is no good young chinese players right now except Wang Chuqin. That's good for Alexis.

@@MrCooperscoopers ofc they are good players xiang peng lin shidong zeng beixun and more, chinese player need to coach top player to have weird style then their top players would be trained to play against european players that do weird thing like alexis truls
