SSTrueLoveMarinus if that were the case, I would agree, but he tried to say the same arguments with Sam, and unlike Elizabeth, Sam fought for Jason. Elizabeth hasn't. She only wants him when she knows that she can't have him anymore. Yes, Jason wanted to keep her safe, but if Elizabeth loved him so much, it would have been sort of like a Luke and Laura thing where, Elizabeth would have said she didn't care, and would have been with him every step of the way; when she hasn't been.

I've been watching all these videos and I see all the comments and it's just like... Honestly... Jason loved BOTH SAM AND LIZ, CLEARLY. I understand that the show has made it a huge competition what with Liz and Sam both always fighting to be with the same guy, but all of these people saying that he doesn't love one or the other.... Like COME ON! That's just not true! I honestly don't think he ever wanted to CHOOSE one... Kathy Adorno Jason has been vulnerable with Liz plenty of times. He's been coming to her for support since 1999, on and off throughout the years and her to him, vise versa. During Emily's death would be one example. This is exactly what I mean, the writers have portrayed Jason to be in love with both women throughout the years. It's been like watching freaking tennis. Balls in whoever's court so that is who he is going to be with. When I read comments like this, I just think you probably like Jason and Sam better and so you see it that way. Nothing wrong with that, but I would have to disagree with you on the 'Jason's vulnerability aspect.'

I don't understand what you are trying to say. You aren't claiming Jason doesn't love Liz, so what's the agenda? That he was 'forced' to love her or something? That sounds ridiculous, Jason makes his own choices. Always has. Also, I would say friendship is an incredibly important part of any good romantic relationship. Being friends first doesn't take anything away from a romantic relationship either in my opinion, if anything I would say it can build for an even stronger foundation possibly. Why is it that Liz is the only one consistently that Jason is not willing to risk? Robin too, I think. I think it's because those two had real lives of their own that were so dichotomous to Jason's life and his choices. They weren't mob molls or hangers-on. They weren't easy choices. I’m guessing that you’re forgetting when Jason and Sam went to Hawaii, when Jason said that he was done with killing people, (now I get that he forgot about his lifestyle) but still he obviously chooses Sam even though he didn’t remember who she was “hmm 🤔 that’s pretty funny 😁 though, isn’t it?? Anyway Sam was so happy that Jason had made that decision, even though she knew it wasn’t going to last forever, but Sam only excepts Jason’s job and his lifestyle because she truly loves him, however if he made the choice to live a normal life, that is without anymore crime, Sam would leave with him in a second, just like she did. As for Robin, the only reason Jason and her broke up in the first place was in fact because she told a secret, he trusted her with, so therefore she deceived him. Lastly, the only reason Sam works well with Jason and the only reason Sam is good with Jason in general, is because she excepts him for who he truly is, does she like his lifestyle or his job absolutely not, and would Sam (again) rather move away with Jason to get far away from his lifestyle/his job, absolutely she would. With that being said, Robin even excepted Jason’s lifestyle/job, did she like it or agree with it, no absolutely not but she loved him just like Sam and she knew that she couldn’t and would never ever be able to change him. In the end the only woman/people who Jason was ever with whom truly accepted him for who he truly is, was in fact Robin and now Sam. Just because someone wants 2 people to be together, or just because someone thinks 2 people should be together, but most of all just because 2 people get along and they look good together, definitely doesn’t mean they should be together nor does it mean that they are good together. You gotta look at the true facts and unfortunately Jason was never truly in love with Lizard so therefore for it wasn’t a hard choice not to choose her, in his mind it was easy not choosing Lizard. In all honesty the only hard choice/decision Jason ever had to make, was breaking with Sam, that is after she got shot and almost died for him, and then again when he finally got back to himself and came to his senses, by asking Sam to marry him!! Sad to say but it wasn’t even hard to give his biological child up, and let another man raise him. So what’s that tell you??

I still am happy with the way the conversation went. He's not saying he doesn't love her, it's you and the kids being safe is more important than us being together or going through the pain again of how bad it hurts them not to be able to be together. Jason said remember how we "Feel" about each other not "Felt" and if this were to happen once her kids are grown he would probably have considered the relationship!? He never said he didn't want her he said that the reasons for them not being together still applied! I do however believe in that moment it wasn't the right timing but I do believe he had led her on and had been depending on her as much much more than a friend and had made the first moves and many of the continuous moves up until this moment! It is kind of hypocritical now of Jason to protect Elizabeth and her children from the mob, but now Jason is with Sam who has children. Where is that concern for Sam and those children. Elizabeth is a strong, independent and a formitable opponent. How many times has she risked her live to protect and save Jason. Elizabeth has more common sense than Sam. Sam acts out of pain or fear and doesn't think of the consequences of her actions, especially when it comes to her children. Elizabeth is with a bad boy type, Franco She fought everything and everyone to be with him because Franco convinced her he had changed. Now Franco has earned the trust of Elizabeth,her children and the community. But if Franco resorted to going back to his bad boy ways, Elizabeth would drop him. Of course Franco would fight to get her back, but Franco tends to push things to far. Jason could do anything and Sam would stay with him. But if Sam did something Jason hated, I am not do sure he would stay with Sam. Both Elizabeth and Jason have a limit on what they forgive and forget and things that they can't forgive or forget. Sam and Franco fight to keep those they love, even if they have betrayed them. If Jason were forced to be with Elizabeth, say by going into hiding for awhile, I think it would be hard for them both not to keep those past feelings hidden. Jason and Elizabeth still have unfinished business, which the fans would love to see come to the surface. Sam and Franco would loose their minds, knowing that Jason and Elizabeth were together in hiding regardless of the reason. Whenever a show puts couples together indefinitely, that is usually a sign they are sidelined characters. Elizabeth and Franco have been together for years, but so have Sam and Jason. GH seems to keep all their focus on Sam, Jason, Carly and Sonny storylines. I think it is time to mix things up. Soap pairings aren't supposed to be long term, unless they are shelving the pair. I miss the old GH with adventure, betrayal and romance. That is probably why Days of our Lives has the viewers they do.

Elizabeth knows Jason is in love with Sam and is doing her best to make him love her. Yes, he cared about her a lot but sometimes in life what we think we need is not what we want. Other than Sam going to bed with Ric, once she began loving Jason, she never stopped. At this time, Jason has the opportunity to connect with Elizabeth without ANY interference from Sam and he decides he cannot be with her. Also, Jason doesn't judge Elizabeth but he knows all the trials and tribulations she has gone through. He at this time is in love with SAM more than ever. reading all those delusional comments about this ONE convo solidified why I just cant buy these two!
