MRM 921 Thank you. I agree, with Sam he's always so serious and it was always lies and betrayal with them two. They had their moments, but they were nothing like Liason. He never touched or caressed Sam like he always had with Liz. He never looked at Sam with as much love and sincerity as he always had with Liz. With Liz he could be himself, and by that I mean, the parts of him that he's always wanted to show, but never really could because he always had to be "Stone Cold" all the time. Liz always gave him the life he wanted but thought he wouldn't really be able to have. A nice domesticated life. The idea of having a loving family. He's always wanted a family ever since Michael was born. He just couldn't really let himself want that too much, but with Liz, she, as he said "made him see things he never even noticed until you pointed them out to me." and "You have dreams, which is good because I don't have any. So I can believe in yours." Liz has always been able to bring out the parts of Jason that he's been too afraid to show. I too, miss the old Jason, he just had SOOO much better chemistry with Liz than this new one.

Jason, Elizabeth and Sam reminded me of Robert, Holly and Anna. Robert was crazy about Holly. He was older than her and he was very protective. With Anna, she could handle herself much like Sam. Jason and Robert treated Elizabeth and Holly like their fragile little kittens. Robert only called Holly is baby. Jason was always so gentle with Elizabeth.

It was like soon as Michael got shot Jason reverted back and said there’s just no way we can let this happen because I can’t put you or the kids in harms way but yet he did it was Sam....That’s what never made sense, the way that Jason looks at Elizabeth there’s a connection that you can’t see with any other of his love interests

Seeing this again, and watching Jason tell Spinelli that he's ALWAYS wanted to be with Elizabeth and how he's literally choosing Elizabeth over the mob here, makes me miss Liason so much more. He chose Elizabeth over acquiring the waterfront he's been really needing to acquire for the mob. He chose Elizabeth and his happiness with her, over his duties to the mob! He finally put his happiness with the woman he loved over his obligations to everyone else. And the fact that it was Spinelli that told Jason to his face that he and Elizabeth were FATE and destined, and that they were a love that couldn't be denied makes me miss them as a couple all the more. Spinelli is exactly right! Right now as of 2018 the writers are having Spinelli set Jason and Sam up in Switzerland trying to force them to come together in the same hotel and try to call that "fate", making them seem as if they are fated to be, but yet, Spinelli actually had to force them to come together. Yet here, he actually believed Elizabeth and Jason were fated FIRST, and truly believed that they had a true love that could NOT be denied, and even named off some of the greatest couple/ loves in history even lady and the tramp lol. The writers are writing the characters to say that Jason and Sam have "a love that just is" but yet, that's what Elizabeth and Jason have had all along. How many times has Jason said to Elizabeth over the years "don't you know what you are to me?" Or "you know how I feel about you." He has said he loves her dozens of times, but he doesn't need to say it all the time like he does with Sam. All he has to say is "you know how I feel about you," or "don't you know what you are to me" and Elizabeth and the audience knows EXACTLY what he's talking about. He doesn't have to even say the words that he loves her, he just does. THAT is the true definition of a kind of love that "just is" not that Sam and Jason bull crap. They love each other sure, but they DO NOT have a love that "just is". Elizabeth and Jason have always had that kind of love. Always unexplainable and couldn't really be formed into the right words, but always there.

Telisa Lockett I completely agree; anything that Elizabeth has done far outweighs the danger and torment that Sam put Elizabeth, lucky, and Jason through. Yes, Elizabeth messed with paternity tests, yes, she lied about Jason‘s identity when they all thought Drew was Jason, but nothing beats watching a child getting kidnapped doing nothing, and then tormenting them; saying that now Elizabeth knows the pain that she endured because she lost a child to? “Elizabeth thinks whatever time we can have in secret is enough.” That doesn’t sound like a wonderful love to me. That’s what bothers me about Liz. She always says “I wanted this to finally be our time” as a justification for when she lies and does bad things to be with Jason, but he wanted to be with her publicly and proposed to her. Liz doesn’t want to change her life or take any risks to be with Jason, be it socially or physically. All of his other women did, even Robin. Hiding your relationship from everyone may be exciting in the beginning, but it won’t last that way.

Serena Darling Sam watched Jake get kidnapped, blamed Elizabeth for all her problems, was a vile snake for months on end, wishing that Jake didn't exist. She was nasty and because she didn't want Jason with Elizabeth, she hired men to wave guns around two kids so that they wouldn't get together. So why do you like her? How can she be the love of Jason's life after she did that to him? It took years before she was really sorry for it and she still gave Liz stank face. I don't get why she gets to do all that and still get the guy but Liz never gets to be happy. Jason should have never forgiven Sam. It's disgusting that they made him. Frankly, I think he shouldn't forgive either one of them. Asking him to give up Jake was horrible on Elizabeth's part especially since Lucky had already done so much damage. But it's interesting cause Jason had no problem keeping Michael away from his brother (vile). Sam had no problem keeping Jason away from Jake or being hateful about a child. It's almost Karma. Meanwhile, for the last 6 or 7 years Elizabeth has been trashed. I can't wait until Jake gets over and goes off about it. All of them should have to answer for their choices. Before Jason died he was so grumpy and miserable (actually since he gave up Jake he's whole demeanor and attitude sucked for most of that time). Liz is lying but if she did what Sam did to Danny, I don't think you'd be so forgiving. Why wasn't what Sam did your last straw for Sam? Ron was going to tell this current story back when he had Liz switch the DNA but Steve left. It's ridiculous cause Liz was never obsessed with Jason. Actually as I was on anther Jason and Elizabeth site and someone there pointed out a scene that I had forgotten about when Jason does clearly tell Elizabeth he is in love with her. The black and white ball when Elizabeth tells Jason she thinks she started loving him way back that first time when he saved her at Jakes and Jason says I have no idea than that I'd be in love with you someday. I think that scene is actually there if you watch the top 15 Jason and Elizabeth moments. So there is clearly a time when Jason said he was in love with Elizabeth. I am not sure there is a scene where he clearly uses the words in love about Sam. However, because I don't deny what the writers clearly intend to convey, I know that he is in love with Sam.

Misty Hustad you can't deny that he did not love Liz but it was never as deep as it was and is for Sam point he was in love with both women but Sam captured his heart, he knew Liz could not handle his life he let it go she kept pursuing when she realized he could actually love some one else and this all started way before Sam entered Jason's life it started with Courtney, remember she was confused about being with lucky Jason or Xander. Granted he has had those feelings for Liz but she could not settle down with one man and she wanted Jason to chase her and he was not about to do just to be with her she could never accept Jason for who he was and what he does, always giving him hard choices, he left her alone, she married lucky had a baby by Xander she had clearly moved on with her life. And when Jason came back the only reason he was drawn to her is because she was in his face every second every day even day off she went to the hospital to visit Jake doe not knowing who this man was come on there was real connection she was like a dog in heat for this man she made sure she was there so she would be the first face he see when he woke up and if it wasn't for Sam and Danny's visit he would have never woke up when he did.

I don't dislike JaSam, but I think the reason they unltimately ended up together was just because they were more compatible. I think there was a time Liz was torn between Jason and Lucky so she couldn't commit to Jason which is why I never got in to Liason when they first started developing feeling for each other. Xander was never really an issue. Xander and Liz were just two ships that passed in the night. She only turned to him because she was alone and scared. Even thought that hurt Jason, I think if Liz hadn't gotten pregnant she as Jason would have worked their way to each other then. I don't think Liz was after Jason when he came back just because she wanted a man. I think she was drawn to him for the same reason he was drawn to her. There was a connection there. Sam on the other hand wanted nothing to do with him. In fact she hated him and warned Liz to stay away from him over. While Liz believed in him. If sam is so connect to Jason how come she felt nothing. It seems to me Jason did feel something for Sam, but not the other way around. Which makes me question whether Sam really loves Jason more than Liz does.

They had a deep friendship and it was sweet-the bad guy with the good girl. It was gold. Jason had gone from being with sweet and even fun with Robin and then everyone broke his heart and with Liz, he finally showed his softer side again and he started to thaw. Then the writers couldn't decide what to do with Liason, partly because of Steve's prolonged vacations so they decided to turn her into Lucky's B. After the NOP, they ruined everyone. They had her asked him to give up Jake which hurt Jason to the core (he was miserable for a long time - very grumpy). They had him forgive the person who didn't care that a crazy woman took his son (insane and totally OOC) and scared Jake and Cam in the park (Sam did this to keep him away from his family). They turned Liz into a wishy washy mess, made me hate Lucky. They had Sam try to have a baby on basically the year anniversary of Jake's death (just stab me in my heart). So yeah, the NOP just destroyed and trashed all three of them. I will never ever root for Jasam. It makes me hate Jason. And I don't even recognize Liz anymore. I can't even watch GH anymore. They whitewash Sam and keep throwing Liz under the bus for every other couple. She never gets to be happy.

See here's the thing I went back and I watched all the old clips. I tried so hard to see what you people see but I just don't. For me as a fan, they fall flat. I don't see this great tragic love story. I don't see a bad boy and good girl beauty in the beast tale. I don't see gold. Liz has totally turned into a person I don't recognize. She is never allowed to be happy. She's always used to prop over the couples and never gets the guy unless he's a sucky guy where it makes no sense why she'd be with him. That is just a fact. It has made her very unlikable. Sam, no matter what disgusting things she did in the past, never paid for what she did and got the guy. That made me hate her. I can't see how a hitman would ever marry the person who targeted their kids or returned to a woman who was having an emotional affair with a cop after they were married that wanted to bring down the organization. It's embarrassing and the most contrived, ridiculous thing I've ever seen. When she was confessing who she was in front of Brenda, it was cringe worthy. To me, Jasam was mostly about sex and Sam for most of their relationship bit her tongue and just tried not to upset the apple cart or poke the bear. I just don't see the connection or think that either one makes each other want to be a better person or expects anything from them. That's a bore to me. I will never get it and I don't think Jason deserved a woman like that. At this point, he'd be better off without either one of them.
