Liberace performed EXCLUSIVELY on Baldwin pianos, he had a lifetime contract with them, that he would use Baldwin 9ft concert grands wherever he performed, from the smallest venue to the largest concert hall, he even had his mirrored piano shipped from concert to concert and had a staff of tuners on his payroll to keep his beloved Baldwin in tip-top shape. Lawrence Welk had the same lifetime agreement with Baldwin. Sadly, In December 2008, Baldwin ceased most manufacturing of new pianos.
