Christa showed she wasn't a mature team player. It's not how you behave when things are going your way. It's how you behave when they are not that counts. You may not like the decision of the PM, but too publicly dramatize your displeasure and embarrass the office you now seek was in poor taste. That and Trump is going to be a major factor on any PM for the next four years, and he hates her. She is not the right tool for this project at this time.

No, Freeland was 100% correct. Trudeau was trying to pin Canada's entire economic predicament on her, while expecting her to undergo a humiliation ritual. It was intolerable and anyone with half a spine would have done the same. What makes Freeland a losing candidate was that she didn't push back on any of those policies BEFORE that. She really would be just another Trudeau.
