lol owning an m2 is not all about straight line line performance. You owning a future icon, with all the luxuries inc. I will take an m2 over any worked car that stands most of the time only to be used to all it potential on a straight line.

@@masemaestr0883 whatdoyoumeanbro... you buy an m2 for the performance.. sure its not for drag racing, and more of a track car, but spending more than a million on a car with a straight 6 and a turbo, with semi auto gearbox, i think beating a golf R would be something you would think is a done deal. Also, im pretty sure all tuned golf R's are daily driven. Plus, m2 is everything but iconic.. their value will just go down ( for instance, a 2017 M2 goes for 800k, easy 400-600k lost, where-as golf R you wouldve only lost maybe 100-150k) , if you want to own a future iconic car, buy a JDM hero car or s2000 or something like that

@Cleo Christians yes, but it's also comparing 6cil twin turbo against 4cil single turbo. Paying the extra money means getting proper launch control with some nice wide rubber. The golf might get off the line quicker, but the m2 should bring it back. Alot is also up to the driver.. unless its dct and dsg. Plus stock m2 has 405 whp vs modified golf R which could be 280 at most, m2 would most likely have more torque
