This is a great hike which kicked my butt. It passes by an arch shaped like the Liberty Bell. It also passes by some old mining equipment and ends overlooking the Colorado River. Even though I only went 4.5 miles roundtrip I was completely out of shape for the adventure.
This trail can be accessed off of the White Rock Canyon trail, and you'll want to park at the Arizona Hot Springs trailhead. About a mile down the trail, the Liberty Bell Arch trail splits to the Northwest. Follow this trail as it passes an old manganese mine and the natural arch that looks like the Liberty Bell on the inside before reaching a plateau 700 feet above the Colorado River.
As an out-and-back hike from the Arizona Hot Springs Trailhead, this totals seven miles and the rolling terrain accounts for an elevation change in excess of 1000 feet.
