Great playing! This is one of my favorite Jaco Pastorius compositions! Jeff ALWAYS spoke about Jaco! Jeff studied with Jaco for many years... They even had a trio with Two electric basses and drums that used to play frequently at the 55bar here in NYC! Thanks for posting this! Jeff and Jaco are reunited again and hanging and sharing bass stories! :-)

Thanks so much!! This middle section of the piece is actually why I started to play bass. I am a drummer by origin. Liberty City is really amazing indeed, it changed my life! I remember the exact moment when I heard it for the first time. It was the version of the Live in Japan album, Invitation. After that, I bought the Word of Mouth album, on LP! That changed my life. I would love to hear more stories from you.
