MY EBOOK RELEASE! - If you're a current or future law student - I have created THE eBook for you. As a first-class law grad who has managed multiple responsibilities, a KZbin channel and secured a Magic Circle training contract, I thought it would only be right to create my own definitive guide to law school. From preparing, to productivity, to assessment technique, this covers everything you should need to know about how I did it all - and how you can too. I have also created a guide to securing those all important vacation schemes and training contracts. SHOP HERE: libertymiles.squarespace.com/shop

from the Video: Best Things About Exeter University: Proximity to home (a 2-hour drive). Campus-based experience with close proximity to lectures and fellow students. Compact city with walkable distances. Access to beaches and the seaside. Comfortable and homey feel. Strong emphasis on sports and sports societies. Worst Things About Exeter University: Small city may not offer as many activities as larger cities. The "posh" stereotype associated with the university. Potentially heavy workload depending on the course.

Love this video insight! I will be an Erasmus student coming to study Law with third year students in Semester 1 of next year. I am a bit worried that It may be hard to make friends simply because I'll be in a foreign country and since I will be coming into third year were most students already know each other, but what you've said throughout the video really put me at ease, so thank you for that!

Do students prefer to live near the Uni (Union road, Hoopern street) or do they prefer live closer to the city center? Thank you.
@libertymiles3 жыл бұрын
It really depends, the ones closer to the uni are big student areas. Personally, I think it's great to be closer to uni, especially when things are in-person again, but when we were looking, we were able to get a much nicer house for much cheaper which was a little further away from the uni. It depends on your priorities.

What cheap books do you recommend for someone wanting to study law llb. I haven’t studied law at A level and wish to study law at Exeter x
@libertymiles3 жыл бұрын
I honestly didn't really do any reading on law before I started, apart from reading 'Is Eating People Wrong' and 'Invitation to Law' for my personal statement. I also read 'Eve Was Framed' which I found really interesting and helped inform my opinions on some areas of criminal law. You honestly won't be behind having not studied it at A level and apparently it is taught very differently anyway. I've heard good things about the Secret Barrister's books but I haven't got round to reading them yet. Unless you wan't to start reading the textbooks I think it will all be of limited use and any books you read will just generally inform your world view which is good context for essays but I think just generally read non-fiction that interests you x

I'm just finishing my 1st year at manchester if you have any questions - I'd agree with what she said about a bigger city though, I love how much is going on and there's loads to do. Another thing is that the liveliest accomodation is in Fallowfield, which is the student area and is a 15 minute bus journey from town, 10 from the uni on a good day, which is fine for me but maybe consider how close you'd want to be into the city, as it's a bit too far to walk really

Hi, I'm from an ethnic minority group and go to Exeter. You won't be judged so don't worry. There are good people and some you should avoid, but you should be fine just know your people. Be yourself and you'll be fine. Must admit though, Exeter does lack diversity, but we do live in the UK so it's not shocking. Overall, wish you all the best for your academic journey. Exeter is a top Uni and apart of the Russel group with great sites, an amazing area that's great for students. Please don't let fear or judgement stop you from going. Don't ever let the judgements of people stop you from doing or going wherever you want!

@@raitielicabebula7532 will they judge a wealthy Indian?
@raitielicabebula75323 жыл бұрын
@@rishigembali6066 I don't think anyone will, but that's me being positive and believing that all people will accept others for who they are, and that doesn't always apply to reality I'm afraid. As I mentioned before, you will find your people sooner or later through events, societies and clubs. Whether in uni or not, people will judge you whether your indian or not, wealthy or not. Just don't worry about what others think about you because at the end of the day, they don't know you and you don't know them so don't give irrelevant stranger the time of day. You do you and you will do amazing no matter what you pursue.
