It's why a lot of Wx decks are running main deck Hallowed Moonlights. Vein Ripper on 3 is so difficult to deal with. 😐

@@1beowulf12 vein ripper is fine, its the Sorin that's the problem. It was okay before because it didnt have really good vamps to cheat in before vein ripper. Vein ripper is pretty meh as a turn 6 creature.

Unfortunately, that's not quite right. The first spell was a Duress and the 2nd spell was a Thoughtseize, but it was countered, so he didn't lose any life. :)
