I would consider a lot of facts like: Do you have contracts in place already, do you have drivers that will drive these vehicles, do you have capital to run the business until the business can support itself? You can start an LLC or start as a sole Prop. Most brokers and facilities will want you to have legal entity. You will need CORRECT vehicle insurance. You don’t want to cut corners in this high risk industry 💯

For 25 years, Ive been a bus driver and I have my own business as a CNA for over 30 plus year. Most of the requirements I do have. I prefer private care less stress. I live here in Fort Myers FL, and the need for transportation for the elderly, disabled is on a rise. Do I need to contract with a broker or can I just do private pay? I am working on just getting the insurance for now, and using my Dodge Journey. Later, I will purchase another vehicle. I probably wont be able to transport 4 at a time for start.
