As always, great job - explaining complex technology in simplistic terms is always a challenge, and you did a great job. Kids saw a reference to LiDar on the TV program "America Unearthed" discussing possible Mayan sites in Georgia, USA. Keep up the good work my friend..!

Very down to earth overview, does not highlight the importance of the fact that all is digital and therefore easier to import into mapping systems

LiDAR stands for LIght Detection and Ranging. Radar is RAdio Detection and Ranging. Come on man.
